Diablo Dog Diablo Dog is a boutique in downtown Martinez that offers walking, training, and dog grooming. We sell premium pet food and supplies.

Diablo Dog is a boutique pet store located at 725 Alhambra Ave, Martinez. We also offer off-leash and on-leash dog walking, dog grooming, and dog training. As of 5/6/23, all of our staff are Pet First Aid certified. We provide a Rattlesnake Aversion Training Clinic each year for all of our clients' dogs.

Today is our weekly Diablo Dog Day Training Academy. Our trainer Anthony picks up a small group of dogs from their homes, takes them on group leashed hike, before ferrying them to our storefront in Downtown Martinez. There he works with them on their individual training in and around our store throughout the day. Then he brings them home well rested, well socialized, and a little more well trained. He sends home a report card not only talking about how they did in their training, but offering homework on how to continue the training at home. It's part of a lot of our training packages, and provides a lot of opportunity particularly for training the dogs to behave in a safe way around other dogs. Our training always begins with a free in home or in store training consultation. Let us know if you'd like to schedule one with your dog!

Usually our pup Roo lays on Spirit the cat. Sometimes it’s the other way around. In case you don’t have weirdo cats and dogs to keep each other company we sell puzzle feeders and automated toys for cats and dogs in Diablo Dog. Ok this is a stretch as an advertisement and really I just wanted to show off our silly animals.

Our Story

Diablo Dog Walking offers hour-long off-leash group hikes to dogs in Walnut Creek and the surrounding areas of Contra Costa County. We pick up your dog, take them with a group of pups to the trails of the East Bay Regional Parks, and they get to run around in the hills. Before we let them off leash we make sure they have a trustworthy recall and will stay close to the dogwalking and the pack.
