Our holiday party to raise funds for the Food Bank of Contra Costa - Solano was a success! 🎯

Two barrels of food plus over $300 in donations was collected from our guests on Friday, December 1st as we celebrated the holiday season with good cheer at the Alhambra Christmas Tree Farm

Alhambra Christmas Tree Farm is proud to support the USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum. We think our tree looks very nice next to a F8 Crusader. What do you think?

First shipment of Noble and Nordman Fir have arrived from Oregon. It’s starting to feel like Christmas…. The scent is amazing😊

We're super excited that Christmas is just around the corner. We will be fully stocked with beautiful trees from Oregon and will also have a good selection of U-Cut trees grown here on the farm to choose from. Our soft opening is Sunday, November 19th for those that want to have a tree in place at Thanksgiving while our traditional Grand Opening will be the Friday after Thanksgiving at 9:00 a.m.

In celebration of Earth Day, we are sharing John Muir’s diary entry from July 17, 1895 in which he discusses coming up to our farm to drop off wedding presents for George Griffin. The Griffin family operated our farm for 4 generations and started growing Christmas Trees in Alhambra Valley in collaboration with the Jones family in the 1960’s. We feel very fortunate to be entrusted to care for this wonderful farm and keep Alhambra Valley agriculture and history alive.

If you can, do something good for the earth or as John Muir might say take a saunter and enjoy the outdoors this week.

This family hiked to the upper tree field at the farm and were super excited to find this u-cut Douglas Fir today. (Our last u-cut of the season). We still have pre-cut trees available and will be open through 1:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

First truck load of fresh pre-cut trees from Oregon arrives today and will be working feverishly to be fully stocked and open this Sunday! This year we are bringing back tradition and will have complimentary popcorn and apple cider. In addition, we will also have complimentary CLIFF KID ZBARs for children.
