Hello all! Been a while.. Hadn't realized..
Photo dump of moo. The big grey " rescued " 2 years ago! We did a wedding today! In between taking the bride to the isle we had some time in between to do our photoshoot while we waited for hers. Can't say I'm not happy about how they turned out.
Moo looks so different. What do you think??

Took mooman up the mountain to shennandale. He did great as normal!!
April 16th is our first show of the year at Jefferson fairgrounds if anyone wants to see us!! We'll be doing the western series which doesn't start before 12.. So come on out!!

Took the almost 6 year old on a bigger trail ride today. Surprisingly, there was 8 of us, he did great. Gotta get some videos of him. He's going great w/p. Great over fences, and even totes kids who've never rode. To say he's like the greatest baby ever...? 😍 Understatement!

Sweet moo moo. Look at how good he is!! First time with a little little kid. He did super, as you can see!! Over the weekend we went to our private property where we did hills, and heavy wooded areas, even did a great creek ride. Which took him a while to get on but once he was in, he didn't wanna get out hahaha. Great weekend day and great lesson day.
Went to show last week got grand champion, he has really been conning along wonderfully!! Couldn't be happier!

Remember poor sweet moo? Horribly bowed tendon? Months of layup? Well, after some much needed time off and a slow start back up, we're up and... Up? This jump wants't very high at all but he said let's do it. He gets jumped not more than a 2ft fence about once - twice a week. And does lots of ground work in between with lessons! Can't wait for our show season!

Got coggins back on the "Newbies " as we've been calling them. Finally got to introduce the boys to them!! Excited but won't lie... It was tense after the video. Dakota has definitely made it clear that the girls are HIS.

Day two for star and kitty. Star got worse. She's an absolute nightmare, emphasis on Mare and kitty has jacob today and just wanted to be out with buddies. Still took forever to get a saddle on star, kitty took it like a champ, just like yesterday.
Put weight on star today, just leaned over her. Not to bad, she won't stand still to save her life. Kitty. Little spookier than yesterday, wind blowing crazy doesn't help... All in all. Another day closer to being broke, correctly.
Dakota day 1: has a clean mane, tangled, matted, and dredlock free!!!
Got lunged and surprisingly did well.
Got saddled and didn't have much of a problem, all in all greqt first day for him. I couldn't work him yesterday due to crappy rainy weather

Day one with miss kitty:
Omg! Complete opposite of star...
Had brushing done, moved very little
Lounged both directions, with the right canter leads but wanted to change direction
Had feet done, took a rope around chest but held them up nicely once she realized what we wanted
Took the saddle with little hesitation- great girl
Didn't try bridle cause she handled everything else like a champ

90 days training, she's come so far!! So cool! She's NEVER seen any of this up until the day of. She took it all into stride! Way to go storm!!
