This redtick male I’ve got , I’ve been working hard to defuse and retrain on the bench for forever he struggles with who’s Alfa! There been a period I just had to say I can’t work with him he try’s my patients to bad! Well a month ago I hit a truck I’ve seen done on one of his relatives! I nicely shirt collar his dog collar til he looks me in the eye and tell him to focus d on me , that I’m the Alfa now stand and stack they way I want him! Well when I do this there not a hound that could stand so perfect on the bench the way he’s put.it took 5 yrs of defusing and retraining him all the while hitting few shows here and there. Now I feel more confident that he’s gonna do good on the bench! He’s a handful of a ham wurst thing dad could had ever done was spoil him from 8 weeks to the time he died!

Had a very nice hunt last night me 1 of my blueticks was home and 2 of my dad’s redticks.couldnt ask for any better for hounds , think I’m at the age of hearing aids that traffic was little loud.

Good luck to all coonhuntin Hoosiers tonight , kill season in full swing furst night November 8th. Got one of my blueticks coming in state to hunt with me and couple inherited English redticks! Every one be safe carefull tonight most importantly have a blast of a good time!
