They happen more often than you think!

In most cases, the dog approaching is just interested and is not a threat. HOWEVER, you can NEVER be too cautious!!

Here are some examples of how you can safely handle an off leash dog encounter. It’s VERY important as a dog owner to stay educated and aware of how dogs communicate with us.

Body language is their primary way of communicating and can help you determine the dog’s intentions during your encounter.

It’s important to keep yourself and your dog safe!! 💓🐾
