If your dog is calmly and politely interacting with a child of any age, I highly recommend rewarding it (especially if this child is new to them!)

Even if you don’t necessarily have any treats on you, acknowledging their behavior by providing verbal praise or a pat on the head is a great way to show your dog that they are doing something good! 😊
