We are now closed for the 2024 season due to the freeze coming tonight. Between the too much rain early and the drought later it sure has been a challenging year for our trees. Thank you to everyone who came out this year, we appreciate your support…and look forward to seeing you in August of 2025!

We will be closed Columbus Day. We will be open Sat the 12 and Sun the 13, not Monday the 14, Columbus Day.

This weekend Oct 12 and 13 we will have lots of yellow and red apples to pick in the southwest corner of the orchard. The weather should be fantastic, true fall weather. The varieties are Enterprise (red and green), Mutsu and Yellow/Golden Delicious. We will have local, raw honey as well.

Look at these yellow beauties! Come get some this weekend Oct 5 and 6 from 11 to 7, arrive by 6. We also have red enterprise and green granny smith. The weather should be cooler and fine. Local honey from Fairbanks Spring will also be available.

Sat Sept 28 and Sun Sept 29 will be weekend two of the wild west out here where every apple you can find is available! We do have a lot of wonderful, super tart, green Granny Smith still hanging on the trees at the end of their row. Sweet yellow Mutsu and mild red Enterprise are still plentiful. Unpasturized, local honey will be for sale too. And the weather will be cooler, more like apple picking weather!

This weekend Sept 21 and 22 will be the start of the wild west out here. Every apple variety will be available. The best red ones will be Enterprise, here is a pic. This is due to the drought which is putting a lot of pressure on our trees – but lucky you, if it looks like an apple, it is yours. We will try to do our best with signage to show you what’s where in the field. There will be no more corn this year, but we will have honey.

Mutsu (yellow delicious type) will be the star of the show this weekend September 14 and 15. Hours are 11-7, arrive by 6. We will also have quite a few other varieties available. Due to the lack of rain the sunflowers will be mostly past though you might be able to find a couple of nice ones.

The temps this weekend should be cooler too. 50 % chance of rain on Sat so keep an eye on it. Come take sunflower photos for Labor Day!

Red Delicious for the holiday weekend! Apple picking for the three-day Labor Day weekend! Open hours are 11-7 (arrive by 6) on Sat Aug 31, Sun Sept 1 and Mon Sept 2. Varieties are Honeycrisp, Gala, McIntosh, JonaFree, Cortland, Red Delicious and Snow Sweet. Local honey and sweet corn will also be available.
