Open hours are 11-7 (arrive by 6) on Sat Aug 31, Sun Sept 1 and Mon Sept 2. Varieties are Honeycrisp, Gala, McIntosh, JonaFree, Cortland, Red Delicious and Snow Sweet. Local honey and sweet corn will also be available.

Red Delicious for the holiday weekend! Apple picking for the three-day Labor Day weekend! Open hours are 11-7 (arrive by 6) on Sat Aug 31, Sun Sept 1 and Mon Sept 2. Varieties are Honeycrisp, Gala, McIntosh, JonaFree, Cortland, Red Delicious and Snow Sweet. Local honey and sweet corn will also be available. Our sunflowers are starting to bloom, we will give an update on them later in the week. Happy Labor Day everyone!

This weekend Aug 10 and 11 Red Free will be the star of the show, Some Williams Pride will still be available if they hang on in the heat. A few of our Honeycrisp will also be available early. They are small and red and the flavor is great.

Williams Pride apples make the best applesauce! if you leave the skins on during processing, the sauce turns a lovely pink. We will be selling these Aug 3 and 4 and will offer volume discounts for sauce makers.

Opening for the 2024 season the weekend of August 3 and 4! This pic is the Williams Pride variety we will be selling. They made it through the 6 freezes and 2 frosts. Lucky us, lucky you. The trees are loaded!!!

A happy Mother's Day post, things are looking up. We skated through six freezes and quite a few heavy frosts and are happy to report that (father god and mother nature willing) there will be some apples out here this season. Things are running two weeks earlier than last year so please check back around Aug 1.

We have almost no apples left on the trees -- we are closed for the 2023 season. Due to the weather it was a difficult year, we appreciate your support. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our farm and take home delicious apples and wonderful memories. Looking forward to seeing you in August of 2024.

Open this weekend Sat the 21 and Sun the 22 selling the last of these big yellow/golden delicious beauties from a hidden row not in the main orchard. If you want to look in the main orchard anything you can find is yours for the picking. It will be very cold and windy, dress warm. We might close early due to weather or getting picked out. If we do it will be announced here. This will be the last weekend of the 2023 season for sure.

Picking yellow apples this weekend Oct 14 and 15 as well as anything else you can find. Hours 11 - 7, get here by 6. The weather forecast is not great, if we have to close due to weather we will announce it. This might be the last weekend for picking out here this year, so get them while you can.

Enterprise and Yellow/Golden Delicious will be the stars of our apple picking show this weekend Sat Oct 7 and Sun Oct 8. Hours 11-7 get here by 6 as it is starting to get dark earlier. The best apples will be in the block of trees by the woods. The weather will be in the mid 50's, perfect for fall apple picking.

Golden Delicious and Mutsu are ripe for this weekend September 30 and Oct 1. Gold all the way around and we have plenty of them. Red varieties as well, check the website cherryhawkfarm.com for the whole list. The sunflowers are fading but still with us. The sweet corn is over for the year. We will have local honey.

Gala, our sweetest apple, is the star of the show this weekend. Also McIntosh, JonaFree, and JonaGold. RedFree and Honeycrisp are over though if you hunt you might be able to find a few. Honey and corn will be on the table. The sunflowers are not blooming yet.

RedFree are for the picking this weekend - both sweet and tart with great crunch! Good for eating, great lunchbox size, also can be used for pies and crisp. A late summer apple with true fall apple flavor. The trees are loaded and they are low-hanging, easy to pick.
