Ruby, our day train student is in her second week of this program! Her owner’s biggest concern was her previous habits of pulling and spinning them around on walks, which is a huge safety risk! With these new skills, Ruby’s owners soon will not have to worry about being knocked over or embarrassed when they take ruby for walks or to the vet and groomer!
Finn is one step closer to his sedation free groomings and nail trims! Muzzling a dog with major anxiety history and known to get “nippy” is the way to go! We can break it down into as many positive pictures as possible, but safety for his future handler will always be priority, so Finn will happily wear a muzzle with a few more of these short sessions!
Little Kirk is learning so much confidence in his board and train! This little puppy was scared of every little noise and movement, and while he still has a lot of confidence to build, this was fantastic progress! Kirks engagement has grown tremendously as he has started becoming a less fearful puppy, and learns to work through his problems (small to us, but huge to him) to find an even greater reward! Before kirks board and train, his owner informed us that he would run to the end of his leash to escape every time a car passed them as they walked in their front yard. That story, as well as many more, is about to change ❤️
We had a few days full of great distractions or new pictures for the dogs to work through this week! every dog took something different from this!
Pike is <4 months old and building owner engagement in all situations, neutralizing all of his surroundings and building value in me!
Freya is a older puppy who has built a negative association with just about anything new and unfamiliar especially humans, so this was HUGE progression for her to be able to play and focus on her handler during this loud and people filled week.
Loki is typically over social and has a hard time focusing on his handler because he puts too much value in the environment, so after a handful of recall sessions with his ecollar, we took it outside to see where his brain was, and he did well!

‼️SOCIAL = NUETRAL ‼️
Set your puppies up for success and socialize them from day one! Pike is working on being neutral to people in public as well as the ducks at our favorite park!
Freya is a young Dutch shepherd who missed this important socialization at as a young puppy so has many reservations towards new people and many things in the environment outside of her home, so we are starting at distances and helping her work past her insecurities!
Pikes first time on the flex pole today!
