HAPPY THANKSGIVING ❤️

Jenny’s Happy Tails Grooming will be closed November 26th – December 1st so I can celebrate Thanksgiving and spend some much-needed time with family.
I’ll reopen on December 2nd ready to see all my sweet pups again!

As we head into the holiday season, I just want to say how truly thankful I am for each and every one of you.
This year brought a lot of health challenges my way, and so many of you stayed by my side with patience, kindness, and understanding. That support meant more than you’ll ever know.

I am thankful for:

🧡 Everyone who stuck with me through all the ups and downs of 2025
🧡 Wendy, who helps me stay organized and keeps the schedule running smoothly

🍁🧡 Calm vibes only at Jenny’s Happy Tails 🧡🍁
One of the biggest keys to grooming success? A peaceful environment. Dogs feed off the energy of the space and the person caring for them. When we stay calm and patient… most of the time they will too. 🐾

And listen… these four cuties didn’t just walk in peaceful — they came in with opinions, sass, and enough wiggles to power a small city. 😆 But give them a calm space, and BOOM… spa day vibes activated. 🫶

With Thanksgiving around the corner, I’m extra grateful for these sweet faces and for all my wonderful clients who trust me with their pups. 🧡

Here’s to calm energy, cozy vibes, and dogs that don’t try to stage an escape during blow-dry time. 😂

🧡🐾 A Little Thankful Story From Last Week… 🐾🧡

Last week I had a very real groomer-life emergency…
I ran out of toilet paper at the shop. 😂🧻

And since I can’t exactly leave a sudsy pup mid-groom to run to Walmart, one of my AMAZING clients stepped in like a hero and brought me a roll when she dropped off her pup to be groomed. Truly the MVP of the day. 🙌

It might seem like such a small thing, but it meant so much to me. Moments like this remind me just how lucky I am to have the most thoughtful, supportive, and downright wonderful clients a groomer could ever ask for. 💕

Thank you all for the big things, the little things, and everything in between. I’m grateful for you every single day. 🧡🐶

That classic Bulldog stance isn’t just adorable — it’s purposeful! 🐾
Their hind legs angle inward while the feet turn outward, creating a strong, stable base. This unique structure once helped them brace and pivot during their original job: bull-baiting. 💪🐂

Think of it like a powerlifter’s stance — wide, grounded, and built for balance. Even though the Bulldog’s working days are long behind them, this posture remains a proud nod to their history and strength. ❤️🐶

She doesn’t let me sit for too long — tiny supervisor, big attitude, and always keeping me on schedule! And ever since Jenna let her sit with her while she groomed, Chicken has decided that’s the new rule for everyone… including me. 🤦‍♀️💕

Miss Harper came in today for her bath, and she made sure I knew exactly how she felt about getting wet. 😂💗

But don’t worry — warm water, gentle hands, and lots of love later, she left smelling amazing and ready for all the weekend snuggles. 🤎✨

Did you know that Chicken’s real name is actually Piper? 😂🐔
She got nicknamed Chicken early in life… and you know how nicknames go around here — they stick forever!

And the little cutie beside her?
Yep… also named Piper.

So in today’s episode of “Things That Make Zero Sense but 100% Fit at Happy Tails”:
👉 Piper and Piper have been besties for about 90% of their lives…
👉 One of them just happens to go by Chicken…
👉 And somehow none of us get confused anymore. 🤣💕

🦃🐶 Thanksgiving Treats for Your Pup! 🐾🍪

While we’re all dreaming about turkey and pumpkin pie, don’t forget our furry friends deserve a little Thanksgiving goodness too! 💛

These Peanut Butter & Pumpkin Dog Cookies are made with simple, dog-safe ingredients — and they’ll have your pup drooling before they even come out of the oven. 🤤🎃

✨ Ingredients:
Whole wheat (or oat) flour, eggs, canned pumpkin, peanut butter (no xylitol!), cinnamon, and a splash of water.

💡 Bonus tip: Use a cute bone-shaped cookie cutter and store extras in the freezer for up to 3 months — perfect for spoiling your pup all winter long! 🥶💕
