We invite anyone who has interest in promoting responsible pet care in our community, whether you are a volunteer, a donor, a business or pet lover. You can get involved in a variety of ways:

Be a buddy - For $10 each month, you can sponsor a shelter animal. Your donation helps offset the cost of food, shelter and vaccinations. You can also visit your buddy, spending quality time to learn more ab

out its personality. Some sponsors also pay for spaying/neutering to help with the animal's adoption. Be an angel - For $50 each month, your donation will help offset the operating costs of the shelter, including utilities, wages and vet bills. You can sign up as an individual, a family, a business or an organization. Rescue transport - Some of our animals are not adoptable in our community, due to age or medical condition. However, we have located reputable rescue organizations throughout the country who have the time and resources to train these animals for adoption or place them in quality foster homes. You can help by offering your time to drive a short leg of the trip (often 2 hours) to help these animals travel to their new homes. Volunteer - Drop by the shelter and learn about how we care for our animals. You can take them for walks, play with them outside the cages and help us find homes for them. Organize a fundraiser - We LOVE our community, which is full of tender-hearted individuals of all ages who are determined to assist us with our mission. ✨DOGGIE DATE SATURDAY✨
Are you stocked up and sitting at home waiting for the snowstorm to arrive?

Consider coming by the shelter and taking a homeless dog on a doggie date away from the shelter. The exercise and mental stimulation will be good for them before we hunker down for the night.

Doggie Dates happen every Saturday from 12-4pm. You can go walk at Tractor Supply or Sutherland’s. Grab a snack at a drive thru. How you spoil your date is entirely up to you — like this pumpkin patch visit from the fall ❤️
