Link is a young, 3 year old yellow lab that is available for adoption. As you would expect from a young lab, he’s playful, loves his toys and is full of energy We do know that Link has lived with an older dog and 2 toddlers with no problems, is not destructive in the house and loves to go on runs with his owner. Link is neutered, fully vaccinated, weighs about 60lbs (estimated) and loves people. Call us at 508-548-7742 to meet him.

One of the newest dogs at the shelter is Xander (pronounced “Zander”), a tan, 8 month old Corgi mix (or a Basset/Lab mix, maybe?). He recently arrived from the US Virgin Islands and is a very playful puppy. So far, he’s had a great time interacting with our other dogs. He weighs about 25 lbs and may grow a bit more. If you’d like to meet him, please call us at 508-548-7742.

What we don't love? Is the thought of the steering wheel airbag deploying in the event of a Motor Vehicle Crash.
What's that you say? You're an excellent driver? We're sure you are- but the "other" operators are an unknown.
No one plans to be in a motor vehicle crash....
By the way, it's also a civil motor vehicle violation!

::CAUTION:: Deer hunting begins today. Be safe in the woods.

Deer hunting by shotgun begins tomorrow, Monday, November 27th and lasts until December 9th. Deer hunting by primitive firearm (black powder) takes place from December 11th -30th. No hunting is permitted in Massachusetts on Sundays.

Please protect yourself and your canine companions when venturing into the woods by wearing blaze orange during these hunting seasons.

Signs of aging in our older dogs.
🐶Deterioration of the teeth.
🐶Obesity as the dog’s mobility decreases & becomes less active.
🐶Behavioral changes, such as being more tires & less willing to exercise or walk.
🐶Walking more slowly, which may indicate arthritis.
🐶Loss of sight or loss of hearing.

Discuss with your veterinarian if you have any concerns about your pet’s health.
