Next up on our broodie spotlight is Hickory! This sweet girl was originally a lease mare, but now that will transition to being one of our mares.
Royal Flamin Poco "Hickory"
Her sire is FR Turbo Zipper whose sire line comes from the every versatile Zippo Pine Three and is out of a Skips Alibi (AQHA Champion Rope horse) bred mare. Her Dam is Flamin Red Hot who is a daughter of Red Hot Hickory (LTE $26k NCHA) and out of a Freckles Fantasy (LTE $107k NCHA) bred mare. She was started as a reiner before injury put her in the broodmare pen.
She is largely in foal to Krogs Fiddle Cat of Spring Valley Ranch! He is a working son of Cant Kick This Cat (PE NCHA/NRCHA over $67k) who has proved his worth on the ranch and is producing money earners and work horses in their own rights. His sire is a son of High Brow Cat and out of a daughter of Dual Pep. His dam comes from a long line of working ranch horses with that sought after work ethic and heart.
