Have you ever wondered what the difference is between service dogs, therapy animals, and emotional support animals? During the NEW Assistance Animals in Action six-week virtual SPIN club, we will take a deep dive into all things assistance animals. Learn more about how animals, especially dogs, can “lend a paw” to help people! Throughout this program, you’ll learn about the human-animal bond and the work of three types of assistance animals. Find out how they are trained, the amazing things they do, and the best ways to interact with these incredible animals.

Considering a Fall weekly, all county meeting to work on obedience, showmanship and rally. It would be in Eaton Rapids. Mainly for 4hers who are registered with any Mi club, who want to polish their teamwork with their dog...

It would be Tuesday eves, 6:30 (moving to 6 pm as days get shorter).

Keep a watch on this page as we still aren't sure where on the fairgrounds the show will be held! They are currently considering the North Commercial building so we have plenty of room, especially for agility

Pot luck luncheon for all.

Agility will be first, followed by other performance classes and ending with showmanship ship

The 2024 Michigan 4-H State Dog Show is now open for registrations!
This year's show will take place on August 10th, 2024, at the Michigan State University Pavilion.
The show is open to enrolled Cloverbuds, and any Michigan 4-Her age 8-19!

AGILITY class starts tonight at 6:30 @ Campbells house (they kindly stored all our equipment this past winter!)

Let me know if you are coming!

There is a 1 time $20/kid participation fee per kid per "4H year". To participate in any and all 4H training opportunities! Payable sometime in the next couple months.

Do make sure vaccs are current if you wish to participate!

You MUST turn in a 2023 Pre-Registration "May 1st" form! By, you guessed it, May 1st!

Make sure it's the 2023 one!

If you google I gham County 4h dog project May 1st form 2023. You will find this option. That's the one!

You will also need to enter dog show through the regular fair entry

It's that time of year again! Not only is this time of year great for getting outside with your dog to practice for the state 4-H dog show, it's also time to start working on your best T-Shirt design entries for the 2024 State 4-H Dog show!
