We are looking for Trail Guides and Petting Farm/Pony Ride attendants. Horse experience for Trail Guide position is required. Experience with animals is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated and interested individuals for Petting Farm/Pony Ride attendants. Experienced individuals are required to work all positions.

▪️Must be able to lift 50+lbs.
▪️Be prepared to work 6-10 hours a day(seasonal)

It's time to get back on board with our Friday spotlight!

In today's spotlight, we have..
✨️Leroy and Maverick✨️

As soon as you walk into our office, you are usually greeted by our 2 ferrets Leroy and Maverick. You will usually catch them snuggled up and snoozing since ferrets can sleep up to 16 hours a day! These boys are very friendly and curious. If you're lucky, you'll catch them out for their daily playtime, and they get into everything! Although if they aren't out playing you can always ask if we can get them out for you to hold and they will scurry all over you. Since they are in our office you can come visit them any day of the week!

Today's spotlight animal is...

✨️Rex✨️

Rex is an Angora Goat. He has been with us since 2013 and is 11 years old. His beautiful curly locks is called mohair and can be used to make soft, fluffy sweaters. Rex is a big teddy bear and demands attention from his visitors. Come visit him and our other Angora Goats in our Petting Farm!

✨️Jack✨️

Jack is a Jacob Sheep. Jacob sheep can grow 2-6 horns, Jack has 4. Though he may look intimidating, we assure you he's not. He is always ready to come up and gently nibble feed from your hand. Come see Jack and our other Petting Farm animals! Next week, we will be open every day except Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-3pm. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

✨️Bobby✨️

Bobby is a pygmy goat that has only been with us since the spring. He came with a personality bigger than he ever will be and he thinks he owns the place. Bobby mostly enjoys eating, as you can tell by his curvy body, but you can also find him chasing his visitors around his pen. Be sure to come visit Bobby, and we can almost guarantee he will be your favorite!

✨️Ember✨️

Ember is a 5 month old miniature Galloway steer. He was bottle raised here and is very friendly and playful. Ember spends most of his time grazing and eating out of his visitors' hands. Every once in a while, he gets the zoomies, and he races laps around his herd mates. Come visit Ember! We're open every day, except Wednesday and Friday, from 10am - 3pm!

Spring has finally arrived...
Come visit us!

We have joined up with the Resort to give our guests the convenient option of making trail ride reservations on the Massanutten website. Of course, people are still always welcome to call or message us directly! If you're visiting in April, please get your trail rides scheduled this week. We are booking up quickly!

We are open daily, weather permitting.
(Closed on 4/9 for Easter)

No reservations are needed for the pony rides or the petting farm.
