Red
Look at this guy! He continues to improve with each session and we’ve started cleaning up some of our fundamentals under saddle. I could not be happier with his progression and I am so excited to see how far we can get with him! He has some very lucky people waiting for him at home because he is one in a million💜 Good boy Red!

This young man continues to improve! We have taken things slow with him to make sure there are no gaps in his training. My biggest concern when working with a young horse is confidence, confidence, confidence! Without it bad habits and fear can develop and I want to be able to send these guys home knowing they’re sure of the process. This is our second ride outside of the round pen and we’re working on simple steering, forward motion and most importantly developing good brakes! I teach all of the upward and downward transitions slowly on the ground first and because of this, I can say “woah” and Red knows what that means. I am so happy with how we are progressing and with each session he gains more confidence. Starting horses the right way is a slow process but boy does all that extra time pay off in the end! Good boy Red!
Look who’s home! We have lots of work ahead of us with meds and bandage changes but we’re so happy to have Clyde back in the barn!
Not bad for a first ride! She’s going to be a fun little ranch horse!
