*Public Assistance Needed*

You may have seen the heartbreaking and utterly horrific news of the four dogs found deceased on the GSP South - our hearts are broken for these innocent animals. The Monmouth County SPCA Humane Law Enforcement Officers and Animal Control Officers were on scene after being called in, and transported the dogs back to our shelter. Our veterinarians had the unfortunate job of examining the condition of the dogs and performing x-rays to determine the possible cause of death and extent of their injuries. The dogs had marks consistent with dog fighting and other brutal injuries too graphic for words. The dogs have been sent out for necropsy to the NJ State labs.

The MCSPCA is supporting the New Jersey State Police during their investigation and we are seeking any tips from the public to bring these dogs some justice. We are disgusted by this cruel, heartless act and the suffering brought upon these dogs. This is unacceptable and although it sometimes feels like the cruelty never ends - we cannot stop fighting to bring a voice to those who cannot speak.

Our new client list has CLOSED. In order to serve our existing clients, we will not be accepting any new clients until further notice.

We strongly suggest making a regular appointment in advance (6-8 weeks usually). Our schedule has been filling up quickly; sometimes the wait for appointments can be 3-4 weeks. We are always so grateful for our clients 🥰🙏🏻 We are happy to recommend a future appointment for you at your visit. 🐾
