*BY APPOINTMENT ONLY* Noah's Ark Animals Rescue (501c3 nonprofit) is a small, family run, home based, private rescue. Many years of experience placing pets into new loving homes when needed. We do not have a physical shelter, YET...The animals come into our home and become part of our family while they are here. If we are trying to find an animal a home, it will IMMEDIATELY be posted on this page

Due to the heat we will not be setting up a full set up at the Saluda Swap this weekend (6/28 morning at TSC in Saluda) BUT we will bring any of the following animals you are interested in meeting and or Adopting! Arrangements must be made before Friday evening at sundown otherwise we may have to arrange for a different time and place- which we are happy to do.
1-Juno- Juno is a SUPER friendly very lovable neutered boy who is litterbox trained and exceptionally well behaved. He MUST be an inside pet and would even be a great candidate for a therapy pet or a emotional support pet. Message us if you think you have the perfect home for him.
2- Ollie- Ollie is a young mature boy who had a rough start at life. His original "owner" turned him and a lot of other rabbits loose when they didn't want to deal with the responsibility anymore. Then suggested anyone just shoot them! A kind neighbor saved him and a few others. he has come a long way but still needs a slow hand to gain trust and reach his full potential. All adoption fees are waved to a good approved home.
3-Bruno-We have an adult fully papered Continental Giant male. Bruno is a laid back boy, will come for pets. Can go with or without papers to approved home. Bruno is currently 15 lbs.
4-Whisper-Adult, fully papered Continental Giant female. Great Mom, comes for pets when she knows you. Can go with or without papers to approved home. Whisper is currently 16 lbs.
5 & 6- Pixie & Dixie are sisters who are a little over one year old. They are fully papered Continental Giants and can go either together or separate- but together would be preferred. Can go with or without papers to approved home(s). They are currently 13 & 14 lbs.
7- We have five Netherland Dwarf babies looking for loving homes. males and females. Make great inside pets.
8- Flemish Giant babies- They are 3 months old and HUGE can come with or without papers. currently weighing about 7 pounds and up each. NOT for meat rabbit or production of.

We have an exceptional bunny with us waiting for his perfect home. Below you will find his info and the adoption application if you are interested in sweet Juno.
The quickest way to submit an application is to send us a message with the answers to all 10 questions. Signing not necessary as there will be an adoption contract that will need to be signed if you are his perfect match.
This boy is neutered, litter box trained, good with dogs & cats & kids... just needs a bunny experienced home where he can be part of the family.

Sadly the wind got too excited and our tent did not make it back home with us. Time to invest in a new one...

🚨 URGENT 🚨

Our little nonprofit animal rescue is facing an unexpected challenge—right after making a huge milestone, and we need your help.
Earlier this month we crossed over 1,000 animals helped since 2016 (when we started keeping track)! That's a thousand animals from our community!
Then...our Noah's Ark truck, the lifeline we use daily to transport animals, get them to appointments and new homes, pick up feed, and respond to emergencies, has broken down. We hope the majority of it will be covered under warranty but there is will be costs. Without it, our ability to save and care for animals is severely impacted.

We’re a small, hardworking team that never takes a paycheck—every single dollar goes directly to the animals we rescue, rehabilitate if needed, and rehome. We pour our hearts, time, and personal resources into this mission every day, because the animals deserve it. But right now, we simply can’t cover this repair bill without you.

💔 We’re asking for help from our amazing community—animal lovers, supporters, and kind souls who believe in what we do. Every donation, no matter how small, gets us closer to getting back on the road and back to saving lives.

Noah's Ark Animal Rescue will be at the Gloucester swap tomorrow morning with 29 chickens, 1 male bunny, and some chicks.
We don't plan on staying the whole time- my husband had surgery monday and i am needed at home.
So if you are looking for some chickens, a bunny or chicks- come early! I'll be set up by 8:00am.

Saturday May 3rd, come see us and meet some of our animals at Mathews May Faire! We will be set up on the corner of Brickbat Road across from the pavilion and dock.
9-4pm (or we get too hot lol)
Lots of fun, kids area and good food vendors!
We will have some animals who are looking for homes and some of our life long residents that enjoy doing events with us.
Donations always accepted but definitely not required. ❤️All are welcomed ❤️
No adoptions will be taking place at the event- but you are welcomed to fill out the adoption application ✍️

Today we took in 29 chickens because the family couldn't afford to feed them anymore.
All I got is "tail up" pics because they were so happy to get food.
When you donate- this is what you are helping us do. A safe place, plenty of healthy food, and whatever they need until they are ready to move on to their forever homes.
I'm so thankful they asked us instead of what they were going to do... 🥺
I know everyone is broke right now... but if everyone could send a LITTLE- it would really make a big difference to some.

Celebrating a remarkable milestone, our beloved Bubba Girl defies expectations, thriving into her fifth year. Although her breed was destined for a short life, she's now a shining example of the transformative power of love, proper care, and a nurturing environment. As one of our cherished "Life Long Residents", she embodies the spirit of resilience and inspires our mission to provide a haven for special creatures and find homes for as many adoptable animals as we can. Today we found great homes for 2 little frizzled roosters, one bullied little bunny, Reba & Barbra Jean the stunning pink eyed white bunny sisters, and Lucky the guinea pig who was found crying in a dumpster after someone no longer wanted him.
We came back with one male bun still looking for a home and took in the tiniest rooster I've ever met who gets along just fine with his one good leg. I think we will call him Pirate Flamingo.
Thank you to everyone who came out and to those we missed- so sorry! the clouds turned dark around 11:30 am and weather said rain was coming so we scooted out quickly!
Tweedle Dee here is about a year old, male, probably lionhead mix... not neutered. Still looking for a loving home - message us if you would like to know more!
