Happy New Year to all of our patients and their owners

12/23/2022

The clinic will be closed from December 23-26 for Christmas and from December 30-January 2 for New Years. Happy Holidays to all of our patients and their owners

At the start of 2022, I started a savings fund anytime someone paid more than their bill. As of this past week that fund had grown to $850. This money was then donated to a very sick patient with an owner who was elderly and disabled and couldn’t afford the ER bills. Unfortunately the cat didn’t make it but thanks to the funds the owner doesn’t have a large ER bill as well right before Christmas time.

I will be continuing this fund and hope that in the future to be able to help many more animals and their owners.

The clinic will be closed from November 16 to the 28th. We would like to wish all of our patients a Happy Thanksgiving.

I’ve been having trouble receiving some faxes so I’m sorry for everyone that has been waiting on chewy authorization. It is all set now. In the future if your waiting on a prescription please message me.

The clinic will be closed from July 16-31.
This week appointments are already full so new appointments are being booked in August. If you need to be seen sooner please contact your closest veterinary ER. Also during the time the clinic is closed, pharmacy authorization won’t be available. If you need to place an order on chewy or another online pharmacy please do it this week or contact me with the order number and what the order is for.
Thank you.

Lyme vaccines are in. Call today to make an appointment. There is a limited supply.

Starting April 1, exam fees are going to be increased.
Unfortunately with gas and other expenses rising I have no choice. So starting April 1, full exams will now cost $60 instead of $50. Brief exams or additional animal exams will be $30 instead of $25.
And recheck exams and nail trims will be $15 instead of $10. Travel will remain the same for now - $25 or $40 depending on distance.

Like other veterinarians this year, I have been very busy and have vaccinated more cats and dogs then I ever have which caused me to run out of 2021 tags. More tags are on order, but usually take a month during normal mail times. If you have an appointment for a rabies vaccine the certificate can be emailed to you, but won’t be mailed until the tags come in.

Phone line is going to be down part of today while I get my phone switched to a new device. If you need to reach me either send an email or leave a voicemail.

Just a heads up to our current and future clients, the clinic will be closed from August 1-15 so Dr. Pickering can take her annual trip to Canada to see her family. We ask that any non-urgent appointments wait until late August, or preferably September so there is enough slots in case of emergencies.
