So a little late I apologize but the team wrapped up 2024 show season at the All American Buckskin Congress. What an amazing way to end the season!

Abigail Bates and One Perfect Krymsun. These two were a new team this year and man they have come far. I love the dedication and commitment to learn I see in her and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow in her horsemanship. I never doubt when I give this team something to work on that they will tackle it with everything they have. They acquired multiple reserve championships and I couldn’t be more proud.

Sophia Gibbs and Face It I’m W***y Good. It was so amazing to have this team out for a second year. The hard work behind the scenes is paying off. I saw so much growth in Sophia and Waylon this year. I have watched this team struggle through tears and frustration, step back and look at the positives and then turn around and rock out some amazing patterns. I know god put this horse in Soph’s life to teach her very valuable lessons and it’s been fun watching it happen. With lots of placings this year the two ended up Reserve Champion in both the horsemanship and equitation. Baby Boy horse will no longer be a junior horse next year maybe his new name should be Old Man horse 😜

Ava Nunn and Bet Ur Coat N Assets. If you could have told me three years ago when I offered Ava a lease on Sage what kind of team they would have become I wouldn’t have believed it. Watching them grow these last couple years and wrap up her youth career with multiple Grand Championships couldn’t have been a more perfect way to end it. I am beyond sad to see it end but I know great things are waiting for Ava in her future and that she will always have the lessons that Sage gave her to use in other aspects of her life. And I know horses will be in her future again someday and I am beyond blessed that I got to be a part of this chapter.

Maeve Wingle and Full of Blessings. Though these two did not make it to buckskin Congress this year due to reasons outside of our control I wanted to give them a shout out. This year has definitely not been the season any of us had hoped for. This girls determination and drive to do what she loves amazes me every time I see her ride. I hope she never loses that no matter how much the world tries to bring her down. These two are going to come back strong next year and I can’t wait to watch it happen.

Apple Blossom was the last show of the year for a couple people this past weekend.

Lucy McGuire and Just A Rumor. I am very proud of how far this team has come in the last year. They have made giant leaps as a team and pushed them selves by stepping up and showing at some higher level shows. I love watching someone that works hard and has so much drive grow.

Bristol Charon and A Good American. This team had a slow start to the season but are just the cutest and always a joy to have around. Abe’s an old man but he hangs in there and does what is asked of him. As a team these two have taught each other a lot. For the shorter season they had the improvements that this team made together were far from small.

Rosemary Goode and Heaven Sent Investment. Wow have I seen the biggest change in this team since the first show of the season. The confidence gained this year and watching her really go out there and want it has been really fun to watch.

Jessica Bronicki and Naturally Vitalyzed. Vinny had his first show this weekend riding under saddle and he passed expectations. He was riding so well we put him in a walk trot hunter under saddle class and he got 2nd under one judge. It was so fun watching him go around the pen.

You all make me really proud and I feel so blessed that I have a group of girls that crave to learn and improve themselves on and off their horses and they let me be a part of their journey. One more show for a couple of them.

Another successful weekend in the books.

Abigail Bates and One Perfect Krymsun had some of their best rides. Every show I can see the growth they are making to become better partners. Ending the weekend Reserve High point in the 13&Under.

Sophia Gibbs and Face it I’m W***y Good took the blue in hunt seat discipline rail and equitation 14-18 in some big classes.

Lucy McGuire and Just a Rumor got in the placings in 14-18 trail and equitation. This was their first show outside of one county fair last year showing as a team. So impressed with the improvements they made just in this weekend.

Ava Nunn and Bet Ur Coat N Assets took the blue in Hunter under saddle 14-18 along with placing in trail and western pleasure.

Strait N Gold performed her first showmanship pattern with Ava Nunn and won. Also secured a win in 2&under Halter.

Leslie Provost and Bet Ur Coat N Assets took first in the Hunt Under Saddle Jackpot, Hunter under saddle senior horse 6&over.

Team Provost was at it again this weekend. Lots of ribbons, lots of laughs and lots of yawns lol. We had a really late night showing Saturday but Sunday they all came back ready for battle. It’s fun to watch these girls’ dedication and passion grow everytime. We got Rosemary and Tilly out this time and a few minis joined us.

The 2024 show season has officially started! Can’t wait to see where this year takes each team. I have a hard time remembering the placings and we left a day early because of Easter so the girls weren’t able to show in their championship classes which each of them had qualified for.

Abigail Bates and One Perfect Krymsun are a new team. This was their first show together and Abigail’s first time showing walk trot canter. I saw LOTS of progress over the two days we showed as they got to know each other better and Abigail started to trust her.

Sophia Gibbs and Face it I’m W***y Good, wow the growth in maturity as a rider and a person since last year makes me a proud coach.

Ava Nunn and Bet ur Coats N Assets were knocking off some dust and getting into the grove again. Great rides as they continue to work better and better with each other each year.

Strait n Gold aka June Bug had her first couple rides off the farm officially having to be a big horse at a horse show(though she still was able to get all her naps in while she waited for us to get done showing)

Strait N Gold 2022 AQHA/ABRA/IBHA mare out of Blues Eyes Straight To You

Reserve IBHA World Champion In Hand Trail
Reserve All American Buckskin Congress Champion Lunge Line

Juniper was hauled around to every show with me last year. She is great at loading, quick to settle in and never took me much time at all to prepare her for her classes, very quiet mare. Started lightly with maybe 20 rides now. Low/mid fives. Located in Southwest Michigan. Message me for video and more info.

I think the horses agree we should not do this last week over again!
