Good morning, we are back from the grooming expo and cannot wait to share everything we have learned.

Few things first, we are revamping our bathing process to help with dry skin and coats. This process has taken longer but the results have been incredible, please bear with us as it may take longer than usual.

We will be upgrading our shampoo and conditioner also as we move through this process. We will continue to use Igroom but will eventually upgrade our options in the future. We will also be offering a Skin Therapy Treatment in the future as well, this is going to help with the inflammation, itching and sores allergy kids have been suffering from.

Our new website is up and running, check it out. We have a online store, you can purchase items and have shipped to your home or pick up in the shop.

Please watch for updates as we move forward and are excited to see the results in our furry babies.

Good Vibes Grooming, LLC is a relaxed and gentle environment. We provide one on one grooming where we believe humanity over vanity and specialize in accommodating to each pet.

It’s officially our 5 year anniversary!

I am so grateful to the GVG team and the GVG community, we couldn’t have done it without you all! I could have never expected what GVG could have become and I am so proud of the safe place we have created for so many sweet babies! Here is where “Humanity over Vanity” was born and will continue to grow.

Today, I think of all the sweet babies that have crossed the rainbow bridge. All the moments we spent together and the lessons they have taught us. We miss you all so much and I know your Mom and Dad do also! I may not have everyone’s pictures so if you can please share!

Fall is approaching fast which means holiday scheduling is in full swing. We are booking up fast and currently have openings after Thanksgiving. Make sure you have your appointments in before they are filled up!

Miss Libby is looking for a new home. Heartbreakingly, her momma’s work schedule has changed and doesn’t feel she’s getting the time and attention she needs. She’s a 10 1/2 year old cocker mix with no current medical issues. She does need a home setting without any men due to past trauma! Please message me if you are interested.

Our sweet Odalys has 4 baby kittens that were found stranded. She brought them home but cannot keep them. Does anyone want to take one of these sweet babies? There is no history or information on them. They will need veterinary care, please message me if you are interested!

Humanity over Vanity……this is why we do what we do! Sweet Cooper can’t stand for long and due to health concerns I don’t tie him up. He snuggles right next to me and gives me so many kisses while I dry him. Sometimes taking a little longer to sit, have patience and create a plan that makes the ones in need comfortable will make for a successful visit. Cooper has some words when it comes to doing his nails but always apologizes after with a kiss and some more snuggles. 🥰 Great job today Cooper!

Yesterday was my last day and the busiest. So many kind animals and owners. I had such a wonderful time talking and learning from so many amazing people about veterinarian life, rescuing and culture of New Mexico. This trip always reminds me why our motto is humanity over vanity.

Some of the cuties I saw yesterday during recovery. Last kitten that was strikingly chocolate brown has been adopted by a veterinarian and is staying with us in our rental. He has been so happy and hasn’t stopped making biscuits!

Jackie will be heading out of state for a volunteer trip assistanting in a spay and neuter clinic. We will be out of the shop 1/18 until 1/23. We will be back Tuesday 1/24. We appreciate the time off to give back. Have a wonderful week!

Beginning this new year, we are moving forward with charging a $20 fee for No Call No Show appointments. Due to our high client volume and limited space we can can no longer accommodate missed appointments like this going forward. We will allow 2 No Call No Show appointments with the fee, after 2 times we will no longer accept that pet as a client. It has been a hard decision to come to but unfortunately it's become necessary. We appreciate your understanding and hope to make this a positive year of growth for Good Vibes Grooming.

We had the honor of working on Limbo and he was a absolute gentleman here! He’s still looking for his forever home! What family is the one that will call him theirs?

ADOPT an OLDER DOG. They are the best!!

-house-trained (your carpet and furniture will thank you!)
-older dogs form deep connections
-some previous training experience
-calmer temperament
-require less supervision (past the puppy phase!)
-personality and care are well established
-older dogs need just as much love AND have just as much love to give

Limbo is still looking for his forever family. We think his age may be holding him back. But we can assure you that he has a ton of s***k and has tons of snuggles ahead.
