Team Twilight - we need some fun and "spooky" people to help haunt the haunted house in Sawyer this season !! You don't need to be associated with the club in any way, just show up and sign in for Minot Trail Riders. We're thrilled to be given the opportunity and don't want to leave them short handed !!

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/TA6od1iUt9CWMegm/?mibextid=WC7FNe

MTR family - a last minute, super fun volunteer opportunity has fallen into our laps. We have been approved to help set up, be "haunters", and tear down the haunted house in Sawyer!! Costumes and makeup will be provided, unless you wish to provide your own.
All we have to do is show up and sign in with the number of people present, as Minot Trail Riders. If you bring a friend and work for 4 hours, we get 8 hours of credit. If you bring two kiddos (they're creepy, right?!) and you work 3 hours, we get 9 hours of credit, and so on. The more, the scarier !
This is a really great opportunity to give our prize budget a huge boost and have some whoppers to give away in Feb. Anybody is welcome - nobody is required to be a member of MTR - just sign in with the clubs duo name and we get credit!
This is a great way to have some good old fashioned fun and get the club some funds, to boot. If you have any questions, you can forward them directly to Lindsey at 701-500-9909, or comment on this post.

We had some folks unable to attend on Saturday, so several spots opened up. If you want to try a “flight” of different ways to raise your frequency - come join us !!

📣 Exciting Announcement 🥳

One week from today I will be participating a Frequency “Flight” experience.

🧘🏻‍♀️We will kick off our morning with our favorite yoga coach, Sue Durand. She has nearly two decades of yoga certification and experience, and she will be leading stretching and yoga for 30 minutes .

🐎Then, we will transition to the barn and greet our group of horses, who will be assisting us in a grounded meditation.

🎶Followed by that, I will be leading a sound bath with different frequencies to help your body get into a parasympathetic state (the healing state).

🫶🏻To wrap up our morning, we will have a casual healing circle to discuss our reactions and opinions, and introduce the Emotion Code from our certified practitioner, Lindsey Johnson.

This is going to be a really fun event, with snacks and beverages provided while we navigate our “flight”. We are excited to share a sampling of the modalities we use for body, mind, and spirit wellness.🤍🤍

2022 cremello filly up for your consideration:
Twilight Equine is proud to showcase ‘Lily’. This blue eyed beauty was born and raised with us, and has had countless hours of desensitizing and ground work. She has the build and brains to match her looks, and shows the true potential to be an all around horse .

Lily’s sire is a point and money earner, and so very easy on the eyes. *pics included in ad*
Her dam was a pick to keep and ride, but suffered a career ending injury as a 2 yo. The Nickster/Playgun cross is a true favorite of mine - the brains and athleticism can hardly be beat. 🤩

Lily is UTD on shots and a deworming schedule, and stands like a lady to have her feet worked on.

Currently located in north central ND. We also have a trailer headed to Billings, MT in the next couple weeks.

Feel free to PM for more information.

My wall of art has continued to grow, particularly since Trotski has passed. Our latest treasure is the painting with the yellow background — how talented is our best gal Terry?! I absolutely love every single piece!! 💝🤠

Dear Sir Felix Trotski,
We know you can hear our thoughts, but we wanted to send you a note to Heaven anyhow. When you first joined our family, it looked much different than it does now. You got to witness the toddlerhoods of Olivia and Ethan, and you were here for all of Avery and Eli's lives. You were here for the building of not one but TWO arenas, you watched us cope with Jimmy being out of the country for two years, and you saw the commotion Poppi's passing brought. You wandered around the yard as we tore buildings down, hauled vehicles out, and built new fence. You watched countless client horses filter through the barnyard, you saw a lot of horses load up in trailers to head to their new homes, and you were one of the first to meet every new foal that was born on this property for over ten years.
For all of the years we had together, some thank yous are in order. Thank you for having the greatest personality and being our little gentleman, no matter the situation. Thank you for being such a good sport, and humoring all our ideas, even when you clearly thought we were being silly. Thanks for being so trustworthy and safe (there are two incident reports on file from your early years here, that we are working on having struck from your record) and helping raise our kids. Thank you for the endless hours you rode in a trailer to get to a horse show, and for standing tied to that trailer from sunup to sundown - thanks in particular for entering any arena to play any game or show in any class, regardless of the weather or being tired or having an impatient or scared rider. Thanks for not caring if the days assignment was a horse show, saddle club, a barrel jackpot, a clinic, or lessons back to back. Thanks for all the wins, and all the lessons learned along the way. Thanks for all the prizes you earned - we will surely treasure them forever. Thank you for the hours and hours of literal fun in the sun. Thanks for extending your kindness to not just our immediately family, but to our client family as well. We can't even begin to count the number of kids (and even a couple of small adults!) that took their very first ride on your back, and started their horse journey with you. Your uncanny ability to go slow and be careful at just the right time was always noted, and you were the highlight of countless lesson hours. Thank you for your bottomless patience, and for being so wise beyond your years. Thank you for being so intuitive and sensitive to everyone around you. Most of all, thank you for being part of our village all these years. Your role in this cast of characters in this lifetime was absolutely perfect. We love you beyond words, and each of us looks forward to seeing you again one day.
All our love,
The Johnsons and the Twilight Equine family

I get frequent pics and videos of this gal, because she was not just one of my favorites, but she went to live with one of my favorites. Sometimes a pic is simply prefaced with a message that reads, “Daily Dove content”. 😂 I thought this one was too beautiful not to share, so please enjoy this daily dose of Dovey. 💖

The bad news is that tail chewing naughty babies get hot sauce in their tails. When you’re white, the orange shade of Frank’s isn’t particularly flattering. The good news is that when your tail is s**t stained to begin with, the orange isn’t *quite* as glaringly obvious!

No more chewing, you bad babies !

Teamwork makes the dream work ! 🥰

Sometimes having a couple Littles in the barn at the same time can be a bit chaotic, but not these two sweeties. They share tasks, help each other, and cheer each other on.

The days of winter can be a bit of a grind sometimes, but when you get to hang out with cuties like this, it sure lightens the mood! 💕

Day 4 of our winter storm. Also day 4 of no school - actual blizzard conditions with whipping wind and low visibility. The entire state is either no travel advised or roads shut down totally.
The pan heaters are trying to keep the fountains open, but the wind chill from the top is freezing them over . The ice was so thick I couldn’t pound it with a hammer - I had to stand on top the fountain and kick it down. Beverage bar is back open, ladies and gents! ❄️ 💨 🥶 🐴

At Twilight Equine, we are always excited and motivated to add value to the industry by breeding and raising horses with the kind of balance that benefits a variety of owners. We strive for conformational correctness, brains, beauty, athleticism, and a work ethic that doesn’t quit. Our lesson and training program is ever-evolving, as we hold “We do what we know. When we know better we do better.” near and dear to our hearts. Working with each client’s goals and struggles is a challenge that we really enjoy. “Team Twilight” is excited about upcoming additions and construction at the barn in 2019. We will be unveiling some exciting new projects this coming season, so stay tuned and thanks for liking/sharing our page!
