It’s time to introduce the newest member of the AMC team to everyone! Meet Shae. Some of you may have seen her around the clinic as an intern this past semester. This Saturday, she graduated the Murray State Animal Health Technology Program.

We have had lots of questions concerning the “mystery illness” affecting dogs lately. The best source of information on this illness will be from both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA). Below is the most recent update from the KVMA on the illness. As of now, there are no reported cases in Kentucky. As a preventative measure, it is recommended to follow the guidelines below and keep your pets current on all vaccinations.

As a reminder… don’t feed your furry family members a plate (or even small amounts) this Thanksgiving! It is extremely dangerous and can end with a very, very sick pet as they cannot metabolize or digest “human food” like we can. 🍗🥧🌽

This sweet kitty and her babies were rescued here at AMC and have been living with us while we got them all healthy. Now, all of Momma’s kittens have been adopted out and she needs a home!!! She is the sweetest girl ever and loves attention.
She is:

⭐️FeLV/FIV/HW negative
⭐️Fully vaccinated and dewormed
If you are interested in adopting her or coming to meet her, let us know! There will be a small adoption fee with her to ensure she goes to a good home. 🐾💚

Happy Veterans Day! Here at AMC, we have two of our own very special veterans. Dr. Jackson served in the Army National Guard and Chase served in the Air Force. We are so proud to have both of these guys in the clinic and want to thank them for their service. Additionally, we would like to thank all other veterans for their service. AMC lost one of our own today. Most of you remember Moxi over the years from either the old clinic or the new clinic. Recently she was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer. She fought as long as she could but we ended up having to put her to sleep today. Please keep the whole AMC family in your prayers as we are all grieving the loss of her. Rest in peace Moxi, we love you!🤍🐾
