BABYDOLL RAM 🐑 Are you looking for a miniature lawn mower? He is mostly sweet, but he has a unique hatred for me specifically. He cares more about eating than his girls, but he does produce beautiful wool and lovely babies when he gets the job done. (He’s too short to breed standard medium wool ewes but it can be artificially done… hence the reason he hates me) If anyone wants a fat pet I’m happy to castrate him too. It’s that time of year 🤩 I have zero skill in gardening but I have enjoyed learning and improving each year. It’s such an excellent way of grounding, and a good way to get the kids more involved. Mila is proud of what she picked tonight! ❤️

Welp, people are already trying to use my account to scam! Please be diligent and know we will ALWAYS respond to you and sound like real people talking. There may come a time I don’t allow people at my home due to safety concerns (the world has become a sick place!) but for now we welcome tours and I will always FaceTime or make it clear I’m real and our animals are real! This beauty is Eris (pink collar). She is staying in the Rush Slowly family as a potentially future mama. She will have Penn Hips/OFAs done prior to any decisions, as well as evaluation of her temperament. As I’ve stated before I’m currently at my max with two dogs so sweet girl is living her best life in a guardian home with a coworker of mine! She’s getting alllllll the love and will be spoiled rotten! If y’all come up to the ER you may see her up there socializing once she’s fully vaccinated. Plans are to breed her to Captain, our poodle stud prospect. It’s insanely expensive to buy dogs, take risks on them passing their health tests, and waiting on them to mature… but that’s the ONLY way it should be done.

Holding this one a little closer tonight 💙 I’m so attached to these babies! I put my soul into raising them knowing how special a good dog can be at the right moment. Sometimes I think I’m crazy for doing this, but when I know my pups are going to the families that will love them like I do - it makes it all worth it!!

All of our babies get the chance to meet the livestock. We start with introductions through the fence, and the puppies that will living with livestock get one on one time in the barn meeting horses, chickens and sheep.

took care of the puppies today so I could get some time in with this baby! “Sacking out” is exposing horses to ALL the scary things in life. Loiza handles almost everything like a champ. I want her to ultimately be a kids horse, so I utilize all the silly things our kids do with her training. Today she had to let me clean all 4 feet while tied, handle Mila with this flashy sword, and leave a blanket on her back while I walked away. She said no biggie 🐴

Kennel training has begun! It’s vital to introduce this at 6 weeks (and we do 20 min daily the first week, then a little longer the second week!) Several of the puppies are flying to their new homes, so I want them acclimated before they get on the plane. This also gets the ball rolling on potty training so the transition is much easier on them mentally and emotionally!

Miss Teal Girl. She’s the most unique personality of the whole group. She’s Milas favorite, so she tolerates all sorts of rough play and toting around. She is completely content playing by herself outside. But she also plays hard with us or the other pups. She’s got a little spice to her and she doesn’t hesitate to put the other pups in their place. If I could see in the future, I anticipate she will behave just like her mama. She’s excessively confident in familiar places, but new places she will quietly observe for 15 min then she comes out of her shell and runs the show. 🐬

Mr Christian Grey for all you ladies looking for your perfect masculine addition to the family! I’m adventurous, spontaneous, ridiculously attractive and I love me some shade 😉. My perfect family should be active - not that border collie kind of active- I mean let’s take walks, play fetch and take some leisurely hikes. Tile floor requested, I like the way it feels on my belly already. Not in a rush, I want the real deal for the long haul.

The majority of horses enjoy a good massage and scratch. It is essential that we can safely touch our horses everywhere on their body. Especially if they get hurt. A horse will communicate with us through body language if they are not happy or if we have hit the "awe that feels good" spot.

Our babies did their first outing! We are VERY careful when we do this as they are not protected from viruses yet. But it’s so important that they see the world and hear all it’s noises. We also want to get them exposed to the car early as it prevents car sickness later on!

We also breed babydoll Southdown sheep (AKA miniature sheep!) at Rush Slowly Farms. We’ve got some babies on the way! Expecting them from in April/May this year. Sheep are so amazing because they give us milk, meat and wool. Hoping to find some time this summer to work on some spinning skills 🤞🏻
