I have been so busy with clients and military that I haven’t worked with my own dog in a few weeks but he’s always excited to work and surprises me every time 🐾
The leave it command is one the first things I teach, as it can apply to anything. Another dog while on a walk. Food that has fallen on the floor. Guests that come in your home, etc. When you don’t have to stress about these things you want to do more with your dog, giving them a more adventurous life with the short amount of time they have with us 🤍
Who doesn’t love a perfect recall?!? Did you know in order to have the best relationship possible with your dog you need 4 things: Trust - Love - Respect - Structure / Boundaries
It can’t only be love, it can’t only be structured, if you’re missing any of the 4 you’re not giving your pup the chance to truly live their best life. Anyone that has ever met Axl says he is the happiest dog in the world and that’s from building a beautiful relationship based off those 4 things.
Who’s ready to change their relationship with their dog!? 🐾🐶
Two sessions with Ashton and his family! Ashton struggled to come when called out of the backyard. Second session we worked on Ashton picking up his name and rewarding the acknowledgment and then we incorporated the touch command. We put it all together “Ashton come touch” and we now have a beautiful recall! Love this family’s progress! 🐾🐶❤️
Watching Grey’s and typing up training plans for clients. Forgot to close the cabinet, no problem Axl’s got it 🐾😍
To all my clients! How is your threshold training and “place” or “bed” command going!!!??
Enzo’s family is a true example of what happens when you put in work. After a long day and 3 clients later this was by far the highlight of my day. I couldn’t stop smiling. I told them if they put in the work by session 3 we would be off leash and that’s just what we did. We had a gorgeous off leash heel with tons of dogs, people, cars, and bicycles all going by, truly an amazing sight to see. Then to end the session their son walking Enzo beautifully. This is why I do what I do. So blessed to have met this family!
Progress videos are the best videos!!! This is Zara’s off leash heel after only one session. When I first met Z she was dragging her pregnant mommy, we added some structure and bam!! Instant results! Z now has awareness of Mackenzie and James as leaders! Look at that eye contact she makes! LOVE IT 😭🥺😍
Did you know by teaching your dog one trick a day or simply just practicing an old trick will drastically improve your relationship with your dog, decrease anxiety and energy and change their perspective of you as leaders!
Off leash heel? I think so! Who’s ready to achieve this? 🐾❤️
Who’s next!? 🐾
