We are looking for an employee who is compassionate towards animals, self motivated, hard working, and detail oriented.

The kennel technician provides care to the animals and maintains the kennels at our pet boarding facility and veterinary clinic. The primary duties include the upkeep of the kennels, boarding facility, and clinic (laundry, sweeping, mopping, picking up after the dogs, and other basic cleaning), giving pets their food and medication, and walking dogs. This position includes labor intensive duties which require heavy lifting and bending and the ability to be on feet for extended periods.

There are 3 options for this position:

-Part Time: The schedule for this position is on a two week rotation working 4 weekdays and every other weekend and holiday. The hours are 7:30 AM-10:30 AM and 3:00 PM-5:30 PM. This position is usually about 20-25 hours per week.

-Mornings Part Time: The schedule for this position includes weekday mornings and every other weekend and holiday. Weekend shifts consist of Saturday morning and Sunday morning and afternoon. The hours are 7:30 AM-10:30 AM. This position is usually about 15-20 hours per week. This option is great for somebody looking for a second job!

-Afternoons Part Time: The schedule for this position includes weekday afternoons and every other weekend and holiday. Weekend shifts consist of Saturday morning and Sunday morning and afternoon. The hours are 3:00 PM-5:30 PM. This position is usually about 10-15 hours per week. This option is great for a high school or college student with availability in the afternoon.

Hours are slightly flexible. The number of hours may vary based on the amount of animals boarding or hospitalized in the facility.

Raises and bonus pay are given based on performance and efficiency.
