** UPDATE ** All twelve dogs have been adopted, found a foster, or have been allocated for rescue! Thank you to all those who shared and cared! The harsh reality is that we can find ourselves in this situation again. Please encourage people to adopt and not shop at puppy mill stores and everyone needs to spay and neuter their pets!

Palm Valley Animal Society is in urgent need of people willing to adopt or foster! These poor dogs have been in the shelter for over 400 days and placed on a deadline. All fees will be waived!

Here are a few tips to keep your dogs safe and comfortable this 4th of July ⬇️

🔹 Keep your dog indoors and with someone during Fireworks.

🔹 Distract your dog with soothing music, or TV noise.

🔹 If needed to be taken outside for the restroom make sure they are leashed at all
times.

🔹 Treats or their favorite toy can help your dog feel less anxious, and help as a distraction.
