He’s kennel trained, knows to sit to get his treat, understands that he is required to stay still while getting his muzzle harnessed, enjoys fetch and tug of war with the jumbo knotted rope, runs zoomies in the backyard and knows how to walk calmly with a pack. But because all our shelters are at maximum capacity and there were 90+ dogs rescued/confiscated from a horrific hoarding situation in McAllen, this wonderful dog and all our efforts to make him welcomed and loved by another home looks pretty bleak. My heart is broken for him and his future. We are now officially on last call for his life as it has become a safety issue with one of my dogs at home with him around. Both Hoardin’ Husky rescue and Texas Husky rescue will be helping but I need someone else locally to offer to take shifts and foster for a week at a time until the rescues can get him placed correctly into a loving home. Do you have one week to offer your home and love? *I will cover cost of food and visit daily to continue training and have already pledged to cover cost of neutering and last set of vaccines.
