Took these kiddos for a walk to see the progress at the Koop this afternoon!
Turns out we have a generator hookup (if consumers doesn’t get to us in time 😉) AND outside gates! Don’t worry- we’re just waiting on the materials to finish off the top portion of the outside kennels!! Each dog will have their own fully enclosed private outside space 🫶🏼

We have a couple spaces open yet for spring break so message us to book your dogs stay!!!d

Good morning from the Koop!!! (Formerly known as Gernaat’s Goldens 😉)

We know we’ve been quiet on here lately but that’s not to say we haven’t been busy! Quite the opposite actually! We’re very excited to announce that Gernaat’s Goldens has taken some time to reroute and rebrand and we are moving forward with a brand new boarding facility - “The Koop”!
When we first started boarding a few years ago we had no idea it would turn into what it has and we’ve felt the increasing need in our area for boarding options so we have decided to expand our 5 kennel at home operation into a 20 kennel facility.
We’ve also taken a step back from our breeding program. This is not us closing the door to the possibility of starting it up again in the future but we want to take all of our focus and put it towards offering the best care to our boarders at this time!

Our family said goodbye to our Golden boy Levi today. Our hearts hurt but we would rather have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

Please share your photos of his puppy’s to help us celebrate his legacy! We were abundantly blessed to have him as our own and we were so proud to share a piece of him with all of you who adopted his puppies!

We can only imagine the unlimited tennis balls he’s chasing in heaven and the never-ending pets he’s enjoying!

Until we meet again Sir- We will miss you always and love you forever.
