The veterinary technician provides care for patients during all aspects of veterinary medicine including, but not limited to: physical examinations, procedures, surgeries, immunizations, and euthanasia. Various client care, administrative, and janitorial duties are also required. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn new skills and develop their talents as a technician. Must have a genuine passion for caring for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and members of the public alike.

We love our feathered friends! This sweet hen named Dangle ripped her nail and her people couldn't stop the bleeding. She came to us and Dr. Gephart was able to stop the bleeding and get her back to the coop in no time. She was an eggcellent patient! 🐔

I'm thankful for our veterinarians - Dr. Nancy and Dr. Steve Basinger for coming out of retirement to help us provide care to our community and shelter animals, Dr. Gephart for her continued leadership at the Veterinary Hospital, and Dr. Donerkiel for her volunteering to take care of our shelter animals so that they can become available for adoption. We are able to complete our mission due to the incredible work these doctors do!
