Hello. My mother, Joanne McDaniel, is a widow living on a fixed income in Clover, SC. She had a female and a male stray cat come to her home this spring. They were both wild and not tame. The female was pregnant and had 6 kittens under my moms shed during the first part of April. One of the kittens was killed by another wild animal as she lives in the woods out in the country. My mom worked through Healthy Pets in Rockhill to trap the adult cats and have them fixed and also gave them shots. The other 5 kittens have survived so far and are now around 12 weeks old. They are eating cat food and we have been trying to work with them to make them more tame and trustworthy. Two are coming around somebut 3 are still very scared. They havenโ€™t had any shots yet. My mother canโ€™t continue to help so many strays and needs help finding homes for the kittens. She is willing to let the 2 adults stay since they are fixed but canโ€™t afford to keep the kittens. If they can be trapped, do you know of a rescue or humane society organization that we can take them to? We are trying to do our best but canโ€™t afford this. Please let us know if you have someone who can help us. Thanks so much.

PLEASE CROSSPOST ~ Located in Chester, SC
I rescued a cat that was abandoned outside in late August and I am looking for a home for him. (Details below) Can you help or know anyone who can?

Name โ€“ Mr. Bones
Photo - Attached
Breed โ€“ Domestic Shorthair
Gender - Male
Age โ€“ Roughly 6 years
Spay/Neuter status - Neutered
History of Vaccinations โ€“ Fully vaccinated with papers and tag
Overall health โ€“ Good health
Behavioral details โ€“ Very calm and affectionate, he loves forehead and nose boops. Loves attention and cuddles.
Reason you need to surrender your pet โ€“ He was found abandoned outside and starving; he was declawed before being abandoned. I took him in in late August to get him back to health but I have 3 other cats and my male is not receptive to him. Itโ€™s been months of techniques and vet visits but my young male just isnโ€™t having it. Itโ€™s not because of Mr. Bones.
Owner contact details โ€“ Jessica Giacchetta

HE IS BEING NEUTERED 5/25. Vet thinks he is approximately 2 years old. Calling him CJ (Caribbean Joe) because his eyes remind us of the Caribbean..He's staying on my screened porch because I have a Greyhound that would have him for lunch. CJ really is awesome...like for real. He was left behind at our rental property. He had a checkup today at Newport Vet and is scheduled to be neutered next Wednesday. This cat is unbelievably sweet... example, he hugged the vet tech when she picked him up to take him in the back.. telling you extra special. Id love help finding him a good home. he so deserving. ty
