Had a great time building my first mouse rack for a customer the past couple days! I think it turned out pretty good!

Got some good shots of Titan after a fresh shed!!! That white keeps getting brighter, and the red spots from momma are showing more.

Only a few weeks old, had about 3 girls in this litter and 3 males in a different litter that are just over a month old! Not really sure what to think about them…cute I guess! Sure was a surprise to see them mixed in with all of the others!

We found one of our rat groups are producing the cutest all white babies with dumbo ears. Unlike the traditional red eyes with albinos, these all have jet black eyes! They are friendly and smart and would make a great pet!

Learning young! The 💪was completely her doing, just glad I got the picture! She is hanging out with Loki, currently our smallest (and possibly chillest) ball python here at Teachers Petz.

Got our new “rat room” completed a few weeks ago and finally got to build 2 more racks. Thankfully my dad was patient with me when I was younger and doing wood working projects with him. I did not always want to do it, but he sure did teach me a lot! Thanks Kurt Thomas!!!

Finally got our 3rd rack set up and water lines hooked up. I think I like the new clear lines on the left better then the original ones on the right! (I know I need to clean them up a little!)

Caught this little guy trying to sneak into the garage. He was actually pretty friendly, I guess he saw how great our Petz live and wanted to join the family! Sorry little guy, no wild pets here. Back into the tree you go!

I got to stop by and visit Zulu, a former foster of mine through GRS. He is doing great with his new forever family! I really liked this guy while he was with us, glad he is not too far away!

The Teachers Petz family wants to send a BIG thank you to everyone who has liked and followed us here! We have passed the first big milestone that Facebook put in place (I did not know that was a thing) of 30 followers! Feel free to share and invite friends to watch us grow. The Teachers Petz family grew a little today! Not sure if it is male or female yet but we have a little 2 month old Argentine tegu. We have not picked a name but are listening for suggestions!

We can't leave out Rusty! He is a striped kenyan sand boa. He does not spend much time out in the open, but he is cool to watch when he does come out!

Just a couple of the racks, but we do have all sizes of rats! Both live and frozen available as feeders.

We also seperate out any that are pet quality. Yes, rats can make excellent pets! They are very smart and can be quite entertaining!

Here is a girl that is staying with us temporarily. Her name is also Pixie! She is very calm and relaxed and loves just hanging on me while I do things around the house

This is Scarlett, an almost 2 female Hypo BCI boa (we were told salmon Island boa but not positive). Don't tell the others, but she is my favorite and she knows it! Not only was she our first snake, but she is one of the best to handle and just hang out with!

This shy little girl is Ivy, a normal ball python. She had a tough start to life. When we first got her she had multiple layers of retained eye caps as well as a burn on her head (and they were confident she was a boy). A vet visit, including an overnight stay, proved he was a she and cleared up her eye cap issue. She is now a great girl to just sit and watch TV with!

Here is our old girl Lola! She was known as Squirrel when we adopted her from GRS. She is a 24 years old normal boa, and loves hanging out and showing off!
