Still playing the waiting game, we have numerous females who are just miserable looking so for their sake and mine I am hoping it will be anyday with these girls. I'll keep everyone posted on any new clutches!

Well we don't have anymore clutches yet, shouldn't be much longer though. We are continuing to see interest in breeding and had 4 more locks yesterday. Our first two clutches are due to hatch on 6-25-10, so we'll keep you posted on anymore locks, eggs and in a couple of months.....hatchlings!!

Our first two clutches of 2010 were laid today! We got 4 eggs from a Spider x Captive Hatch female and 5 eggs from a Spider X Granite female. It took long enough but it sure is a relief to have these two clutches in the incubator. Now hopefully many more to come!

Still waiting patiently for our first eggs of 2010 to get on the ground, everyday should be THE DAY but I am reminded daily that breeding ball pythons requires extreme patience which is something I have always lacked

We will be headed down to Tim Lane at Ballroom Pythons house for the next four days. We will be twittering from Savannah while we are down there but that will probably be all we will be able to update. We love going down to Tims place, he is very hospitable, has AWESOME animals and is just a great friend with an awesome family and we always have a good time.

We use the newsletter to spread industry news and only dedicate one page in the newsletter to things happening here at Prototype Pythons.

Last night we had the opportunity to be on Late Night Leos on Blog Talk Radio. We had a great time and touched on a variety of projects from the proposed "Python Ban", normal care and husbandry of Ball Pythons, as well as the different methods we use here at Prototype Pythons to network in the reptile community. It was a great time!

Clutch 1 due anyday, can't wait to get that first clutch on the ground and hopefully many more will follow. First clutch is from a CH Female with some unusual patterning to a Spider male with some very unusual coloring, working on proving out two animals in one breeding, and asking for trouble. Wish me luck and sanity!
