Somerset had a great weekend with Horse Show Ventures for the Fall Kick Off Show!

🥇Congratulations to Margot Morrison & Cloudy Hill on WINNING the Crossrail Hunter Derby on Saturday! They had a fantastic Handy round. The duo also brought home RESERVE CHAMPION in the Crossrail Hunters on Sunday.

🥈Congratulations to Rhiannon Maddox & Cloudy Hill on bringing home RESERVE CHAMPION in the Senior/Adult Walk Trot division on Sunday!

🍂 Emery Wamstad & Chantilly Lace showed in the Low Child/Adult Hunters over the weekend, with great rides and ribbons. The pair also placed 7th in the 2’ - 2’3” Hunter Derby on Friday.

🍂 Jennifer Wilson & Dressed With A Smile showed in Schooling Hunters on Sunday. This was the pony second show and she took it on like a champion. She is available for L or S and will make a great kids pony.

New Direction Events hosted a wonderful two weeks of showing at Bouckaert Equestrian!

🎉 Congratulations to Kole Floyd & Calais on placing 4th in the 1M Jr/Am Jumper Classic week 1! What a great way to move up a division! Kole also had great rides and ribbons both weeks in their classes.

🥇Congratulations to Rhiannon Maddox & Cloudy Hill on winning CHAMPION in the Opportunity Walk/Trot week 2! Rhiannon had great rides with improvements both weeks.

🧭 Katie Moniz Floyd & Kalipso had great clear rounds in the Open Jumpers over the two weeks.

WEC Week 3 was a blast! 💥 🌴

🥇 Congratulations to Kimberly Ewing Gill & Midas Tobias on winning CHAMPION in the Adult Crossrail division!

🌴 Kole Floyd & Calais showed in the Novice Adult Jumpers, bringing home two seconds and a third over the weekend.

🌴 Katie Moniz Floyd & Semper Fi showed in the 0.85M Open jumpers, placing 2nd in their speed out of a huge class.

🌴 Kaitlyn O’Neill & Goody Two Shoes showed in the 0.85M Jr/Am jumpers, placing 7th and 8th.

Great kick off to the summer show season! We had a fun time at Bouckaert Equestrian, showing with Elite Show Jumping 🥳

🥇Congratulations to Emery Wamsted & Chantilly Lace on bringing home CHAMPION in the 0.65M Jumpers! The pair won all of their classes. This was their first time in the jumper ring!

☀️ Kole Floyd & Calais showed in the 0.90M Jumpers with great rides and ribbons in all of their classes.

☀️ Katie Moniz Floyd & Semper Fi showed in the 0.80M Jumpers with a quick time and 1 unfortunate rail, keeping them out of the ribbons.

☀️ Margot Morrison & Cloudy Hill showed in the Crossrail Hunters, with big improvements over the weekend. They placed second in one of their over fence trips.

☀️ Rhiannon Maddox & Cloudy Hill showed in the Walk/Trot classes. Rhiannon had a great time at her first horse show.

⭐️ Cara Hall & Zip’s Double Dynasty showed in the 0.90M jumpers, bringing home ribbons in her classes on Saturday.

⭐️ Emery Wamsted & Chantilly Lace showed in the Schooling Hunters, with learning and improvements in each ride.

⭐️ Kim Gill & Midas Tobias showed in the Mini Hunters, on Sunday, and had a blast in the ring.

🌸 Bonnie Huffaker and Cloudy Hill showed in the Adult/Senior Beginner Crossrail division, making improvements each day!

We are excited to see our riders continue to grow in this sport, and have tons of FUN along the way!

A few weeks ago, Somerset travelled south to WEC - Ocala for the second week of the Fall Series. ✨

🥇Congratulations to Kaitlyn O’Neill & Goody Two Shoes on winning CHAMPION in the 0.80M Child/Adult Jumpers! This was their first time at WEC and they made it one to remember!

🍁Katie Moniz Floyd & Semper Fi placed 3rd and 4th in their jumper classes during the week.

🍁 Kole Floyd & Knockaville showed in the Novice Adult Jumpers.

🍁 Jayley Austin & Balaton showed in the Novice Children’s Jumpers.

🍎 Cara Hall & Zip’s Double Dynasty showed in the 1M and 1.10M jumpers. This was their first time showing at that height and brought home ribbons and awesome trips!

🍎 Kole Floyd & Knockaville showed in the 0.90M Low Schooling Jumpers, winning both classes!

⭐️ Cara Hall & Zip’s Double Dynasty had an awesome first time at WEC! The pair brought home ribbons in their Novice Children’s Jumper classes over the week, with amazing rides!
