Our awesome play pal Carly has been missing from her home since yesterday near Deerfield. Please spread the word and let’s bring her home safe and sound!!

From her parents: ❤️⚠️ Our hound dog Carly did not return from bathroom break yesterday morning around 6am. If you are able to keep an eye out for her, she was last seen near Cottage Grove Rd, and Bannon Rd near Deerfield. She's friendly but will bark at you and is skittish around new people. She loves treats. Home address, phone number, and tags are on her yellow collar. She has the stamina of an Olympian and could be within 25 miles by now.

The McFarland Winter Wonderland in the Village is TODAY and we are hosting our annual Open House from 10am to 12pm! Come enjoy snacks, take a holiday picture with your pup (bring your camera), and see where they play inside and out.🐶

There will be a raffle to win two free days of daycare! We will also be accepting donations for the Dane County Humane Society. Tell a friend who may be interested in daycare for their dog to come check us out. Remember, you earn a free day of daycare if you refer a friend!

All dogs must be on a leash with their owner indoors, and there will be outdoor off leash play time available. If you aren’t currently attending daycare please make sure your pup is up to date on their vaccinations for bordetella, DHLPP and rabies. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and fun play environment for all of the pups.

After receiving all the votes from our staff we realized that we forgot to share one more costume entry from Thursday. Meet Harry Potter (Angus) and his good pal Dobbie (Indiana). Once photo time started Indie was hit with “petrificus totalus”!

Everyone at at The Dog Hut had a blast on Howl-o-Ween yesterday. We were thrilled to see all the costumes this year and now have our decisions to make. Yesterday’s pups should go as follows and we’ll add our home entries and staff photos at the end! Our Silver Lab Ash was happy to be a friendly witch. Alfie made one handsome Grinch. Cooper the Goldy love the extramarital treats and his pot of Honey as Winnie the Poo. Bernie made a great Elder Bernard! Who else could Willie the pointer be but the Willie Nelson! Piper kept it real this year as Snoop Dogg. Dexter the Boxer mix and Maggie a Black Lab mix both showed their love for Coke Zero this year, Sugar Free! Maple the Cream Doodle gave Little Red Riding Hood one heck of a ride! Lambeau, true to his name showed his Packer pride. Don’t let Tilly’s cute looks fool you, she loved her Chucky costume. Nova is Super Nova! And huge thanks to Emily for helping us get a picture of Lazlo as a Taco.

Ginger was happy to put on her Ewok costume at home. Jack and his big brother Leo were ready to fight as Deadpool and Wolverine. Lola as pepper and Daisy as salt, ready in the kitchen! Wolfgang tried his hardest to don his Phantom of The Dogpera costume. And Tiden and Finn took turns being a p**p factory! But also look adorable as a Tiger and Devil! Luka the Red Doodle is one Hot Dog. Phoebe makes a fabulous a Gnome!Thanks to all our awesome staff for participating and helping with pictures. We hope everyone had a happy Howl-o-Ween!

We had a blast yesterday with all the costumes at the Dog Hut! We should have pictures in this order:
Berkeley was bouncing off the walls in hisTigger costume. Dax was one adorable pumpkin. Charlie buzzed around the room as a bumble bee. Edwin made one ferocious dinasour. Nova was thrilled to be a Stardoggy Barista. Crawling through his photos was Toby the Spider. Pecas roared thru the photo shoot as a Dragon. Data the Lion, Ella as wonder woman, and Anya as a Bumble Bee finished off the day. More to come today! Any entries from home will be posted tonight, Happy Howl-o-Ween!
