Update: We have 5 remaining spots for mini critter camp next Friday! Register today!

We received requests from our summer camp and farm tour guests to host a mini critter camp on days school is out. We listened to their feedback and are excited to offer a mini critter camp on Friday September 22nd (RCPS students do not have school that day). Registration is live on our website! Mini Critter Camp is best suited for ages 5-11 (elementary age). Campers will learn about farm animals and animal care, ride a pony, play games, make crafts, and participate in other fun outdoor educational activities. Go to www.topnotchfarmllc.com to register. Hello everyone! Kemper Knoll is looking for that retired “A” show horse that thinks 3’6” is just too hard anymore. Life with us would be a super step-down job, teaching up-and-coming students the CORRECT way to do the hunters or equitation classes. Such a horse would be well-cared-for, shown lightly in a program, and doted on (show the love!) by our staff and students. If you can’t stand the idea of selling that wonderful competition partner, but you don’t relish the idea of paying his/her bills any more, then this might be your solution!
This is a golden opportunity for the right horse. You could continue to own him/her, but we would pay the bills in exchange for our students getting the opportunity to ride and learn from a retired show horse!
No quirky buck-you-off types.
No stand-up-and-wave-at-the crowd types.
No run-aways.
This offer is for a good,reasonable horse with show miles, who needs a cushy retirement location and lots of attention!
All rides on such horse will be supervised by our trained staff.
All vaccines and medical interventions necessary will be paid for by our farm.
We will send owner regular picture updates, and will keep a diary of said horse’s activities!
12 by 12 stall accomodations.
Daily grooming.
Professional handlers, barn help and trainers.
This is a great opportunity for a step-down job in a safe and caring barn.
Retired show horses need to stay limber, loved and wanted!

Had a great time at Memory Hill show today. Pearl, Chloe and Emmy rode well, navigating their courses and staying on plan! It is so great to see them riding their horses with greater confidence. It is also gratifying to see Lily coaching them with kindness, accuracy and patience…a teaching style that I have utilized when teaching her …and now she uses these techniques when teaching her students! Well done!
Thanks to the Memory Hill folks for providing safe experiences for our students…
All in all, a pretty nice day!
