Looking for a foster for this sweet boy! Must have fenced in yard and live within 30 mins of McHenry. I will be providing training 2-3 days a week so will need to have access to him. Food, meds and medical will be cover. Fosters have the option to adopt. PM me if you are interested!

Happy National Dog Day! Missing Whiskey and Snickers this year, but definitely thinking of them and celebrating them every day! Trooper is the OG now and I would like to introduce the two newest dogs to the K9 Zen Family officially! Nutmeg and Cooper became an official part of the family this week! All my dogs have been from Toller Rescue Inc. Nutmeg is a pure bred Nova Scotian Duck Toller Retriever and Cooper is a pure bred Australian Shepherd ( this was a surprise when I got his DNA back!) You will be seeing more of them helping out with training!

Alright guys, big news from me! I’ve taken a step back from the Veterinary world to focus on dog training and some life balance! If you or anyone you know is looking for a trainer, send them my way! I’ll be offering private in home training, classes ( I just got approved to teach ACK classes) and also have my Day School program that incorporates small group socialization/play and 1:1 training. Would love to add in a day that’s half day puppy and half day senior dog for daycare, so if there’s any interest on that, reach out and let me know!

What a special boy you were! There are no words to explain the loss out house has felt without you. Your spirit was enviable and everyone who met you was touched by your infectious energy. Despite all your challenges you never felt different than all the other dogs. Even without your chair you were lightning fast, always adapting to your situation and giving 0 fu*ks. Always the happiest dog and literally everyone who met you fell in love. The quiet in the house is deafening without you. You will forever be loved and missed. I hope I gave you the best life and that you and Whiskey are together spreading that love around like you two did best!

Here are some things K9 Zen is offering next month! We added an additional day to the day School program, will be offering AKC S.T.A.R puppy classes on Saturdays and have only a few spots left in the Reactive dog class taught with Intuitive Animal Behavior!
