Her Royal Highness, Rosa the Remarkable, requests an audience! 👑

This dazzling 10-year-old tortie has declared herself the reigning monarch of attention, and she’s very good at her job. She’s recently mastered the art of “melodramatic meowing,” a technique used exclusively when she feels her loyal subjects have not provided enough lap time.

Rosa prefers to rule a peaceful kingdom (no rowdy courtiers, please), though she may tolerate other cats, but only in the same way queens tolerate jesters.

If you’re ready to adore, admire, and cater to the whims of one fabulous feline ruler, Rosa will reward you with her presence and maaaaybe the occasional purr of approval. 😽

Meet Linus, a 7-year-old sweetheart with eyes that melt hearts and a personality that’s equal parts cuddly, loyal, and wonderfully quirky. 😘

He’s perfectly house-trained, über polite, calm on car rides, and happiest when curled up beside his favorite person for chest rubs and cozy naps.

Linus is looking for a calm, loving home where his primary caretaker is female, with a fenced yard and no other pets - a place where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly at home.

If you’re ready for a devoted companion whose quiet love brightens every day, Linus is waiting for you: adoptaseniorpet.com 💛

Meet Venus: An Amazing Foster Dog Ready for Adoption

Venus is a loving, loyal, and playful dog currently looking for her forever family. Since joining her foster home over a year ago, Venus has shown us just how special she is. She’s quick to greet them with a wagging tail, loves cuddles on the couch, and enjoys her daily walks and training sessions. Now, Venus is ready to share her heart with a family of her own.
Why Venus Has Been in Her Foster Home So Long
• Afraid and Unsure: Venus is timid with people of all ages and can take months to form strong bonds with her humans and fellow fur-siblings. But she will, she just needs time, patience, love, and trust.
• Not socialized or Well-Trained: Her foster home has spent over a year giving Venus time to re-build her faith in humans and other dogs. She is housebroken, lives with four other dogs, has full run of the house, knows basic commands, and responds well to positive reinforcement. She needs structure and constant mental and physical training.
• Playful Spirit: Venus loves to play games in training sessions, go for longs walks, car rides, explore new places, and is always up for an adventure.
• Great with Other Pets: She gets along well with other dogs. But she will need a slow introduction and time for her to trust those around her.
What Venus Needs in a Forever Family
Venus would thrive in a loving home where she can be a true active member of the family. She needs a person who will continue to invest time in her and give her a chance to become the dog she is in her foster home. A new adopter won’t see that side of her for awhile. She enjoys attention and would do best with people who can spend quality time with her. She does need a fenced in yard. Venus is ready to give you a chance, are you willing to take a chance on her?
How to Adopt Venus
1. Contact Us: Fill out an application online. Once approved, you will be able to meet Venus.
2. Meet and Greet: It will take a few meetings with Venus and her foster before she can be adopted out. We want to make sure it is the right fit for both parties.

If you’re not able to adopt, please share Venus’s story with your friends, family, and social networks.

Fostering Venus has been a rewarding experience, and we’re grateful for your support in helping her find a home. Together, we can ensure Venus’s next chapter is filled with love, care, and happiness. If you have questions or would like to meet Venus, don’t hesitate to reach out!

As we are entering into the Holiday Season we are calling on the public to help us give back to our rescue community by donating used or unused blankets, sheets and towels. All of these donations will go to local animal rescue organizations just in time for Christmas to keep their animals cozy through the cold season.

We currently have two donation boxes set up. One is located at Kamp K-9 in Long Grove and the other is set up at Lake Forest Kennel Club. Please stop in to donate to help support our mission.
We plan on expanding the drop boxes to a couple of other locations so stay tuned for a location near you.

Thank you Kamp K-9 and Lake Forest Kennel Club for allowing us to use your space and supporting our mission! Another big thank you goes out to Brian Mathews at Uline in Kenosha for donating these giant boxes to us! We truly are so grateful for all of the support. And we know Maggie would be too! ❤️🐾
