Maggie's Mutts Foundation Maggieโ€™s Mutts Foundation supports animal rescue organizations so they can rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome more pets in need.

Maggie's Mutts Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created in memory of Maggie Bonefas. Our goal is to create a volunteer network focused on assisting animal rescue and shelters so they can better serve the animals in their care. We will also raise funds to grant to partner rescues and shelters.

My name is Cocoa! I am a lovely 8-year-old girl hoping to find my forever family soon. ๐ŸคŽ

Did you know that the scientific name for cocoa (or cacao) means โ€œfood of the godsโ€ in Greek? I think the meaning suits me. Not to imply that Iโ€™m a god amongst cats, but Iโ€™m also not NOT saying that. ๐Ÿ‘€ No, no, I'm kidding!! I am a humble, darling, little cat. Promise!

I am fine with humans, cats, and even dogs. And if I can get along with dogs, I think I can handle kids, too. Though I like a nap as much as the next cat, I am very playful. Whether itโ€™s wand toys, jingle balls, catnip mice, or maybe even an interactive toy, I am all over it. It would be really awesome to have a family who loves to play as much as I do, including another playful cat who doesn't mind a lil wrestle. ๐Ÿ˜ผ

When Iโ€™m not playing, I enjoy being in the company of humans. Sometimes on their laps, sometimes in a sunny spot nearby. Iโ€™m not too picky. And if I get tired of you, I'll just find the nearest covered bed and snooze to my heart's content.
