From now until Valentine’s Day we are collecting donations for Pit Crew IL Rescue to help fund treatments for Heartworm positive dogs in their care.
Pit Crew routinely rescues dogs with medical conditions including, but not limited to, Heartworm Disease and they need our help to keep saving lives!

❤️ FUNYUNS ❤️

This sweet kitten will keep you laughing, smiling and add FUN to your home !

Funyuns loves new things. He is one of the first to greet his foster parents when they walk into the room! He loves any type of wand toys and recently got his first taste of catnip (5 stars!) He is a curious and sweet boy who will thrive with a family of his own.

He loves being petted and is learning to be picked up and snuggled!

Funyuns is great with other cats. He has not met a dog, but with a slow introduction could likely learn to be convinced! He is being fostered in Woodstock, Illinois.

All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated!

Animal Hospital of Mchenry would like to send out a great big THANK YOU to all of our wonderful clients and friends who donated so generously to our Holiday Donation Drive and Giving Tree Celebration this Holiday Season. We were able to raise over $2000 in monetary donations and our participating rescues reported the many gifts received from their Giving Tree wish lists.

We are honored to serve a community of likeminded animal advocates whose generosity and loving kindness extends to the doors of our less fortunate four-legged friends. Thank you for letting us extend a helping hand to those in need and for trusting us with the care of you own precious pets. Our participating rescues Fierce Animal Rescue, A Place For Hope and Pit Crew IL Rescue extend their most sincere thanks as well.

We are forever grateful for you and look forward to seeing you all in the new year!

Sparky, a new cutie from Fierce Animal Rescue, visited us at Animal Hospital of McHenry last week to have some much-needed dental work done. Sparky was rescued in late summer as a stray and had several badly rotted teeth that need to be removed.

Fierce has reported that he is like a new man since his procedure, loving life and rollies on the carpet in his foster home. Thank you Fierce Animal Rescue for giving this sweet boy the care he deserves and for letting us show him the Animal Hospital of McHenry top tier treatment!

Next month is National Pet Dental Care Month and Sparky wants to remind everyone about how important your pet's dental health is to their overall wellbeing. Call us today to book a dental health checkup and stay on top of the care of those precious pearly whites!

Meet Ruskin and Zara!

They have been waiting patiently for their forever home! Could you be the one they are looking for?!

This sweet pair is everything you could want in a cat combo. They are 18 months old. Ruskin will have you on your toes while he tries to be the world's best cat climber and Zara will be snoozing away while her brother gets into shenanigans. Zara will often be found playing with her favorite mouse toy that she guards from all other feline friends. Nobody should touch Zara's mouse, because she carries that around like it's her baby. Ruskin and Zara have been raised together since they were tiny kittens and are the only two left from the group of 5 that were in foster. It might take time to earn their love, but take out the famous wand toy and they will be sure to show you a few good laughs. They have no problem with dogs, older kids and they absolutely love other cats. They enjoy treats, catnip and toys!

We are just $95 away from reaching our $500 donation goal for the cats of Fierce Animal Rescue!

If we achieve our $500 donation goal by the end of the day tomorrow (12/31/24), we will spay and neuter this entire bunch of adorable kittens to get them ready for adoption in 2025!

Fierce Animal Rescue will keep all funds donated and spay neuter services will be donated by the Animal Hospital of McHenry!
