Camp Bow Wow® is the leading pet care franchise and is all about Happy Healthy Pets and Happy Healthy People. Opening in February 2008, Camp Bow Wow McHenry is dedicated to providing a safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We provide dog day camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening, as well

as overnight boarding for travelers. We have a full service training department called Behavior Buddies as well as a full service grooming facility. Parents feel confident knowing their pet is well-cared for in our safe and secure environment:

-All Camp Counselors are extensively trained in dog behavior, pet first aid and CPR
-Each Camper is required to pass a socialization interview, be spayed or neutered, and be current on vaccinations
-Live webcams to check in on your dog from anywhere using a computer or mobile device
-Facilities are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

We are falling head over heels for our February Camper of the Month, Rip Gallagher!🥰 Rip is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever who interviewed with us when he was just 5 months old. Rip has such a loving personality; he's the perfect mix of sweet and sassy! When you ask any of the counselors what their favorite thing about Rip is, they will tell you how much he loves to 'hold their hand'. He will grab onto you and bring you all over the yard. It's like he is showing us off to the other dogs! Rip is quickly becoming another one of our TikTok stars with those big brown eyes he has! We love seeing how excited he is when he arrives to camp in the mornings. This heartthrob❤️‍🔥 sure does bring a smile to our faces! I'm more productive, my dog is fulfilled, we can chill out together in the evenings instead of endless hours of playing fetch. Our walks are more relaxed because she has already exercised (all day long, lol), she has four-legged friends. It's the best situation!”
