5-year-old Pekingese mix, Delilah, says "Happy Galentine's Day!" to all the beautiful women out there who celebrate. This sweet girl is going to make some loving home very happy.

Delilah is currently spending time in foster care with other dogs but hasn't had the opportunity to meet any cats yet. Delilah would do best in a home with children over 10 years-old, due to the fact that she doesn't prefer to be grabbed or picked up abruptly.

After spending over 1,000 days at the adoption center, Bootsie found his forever home with a long time volunteer. Bootsie is a shy cat by nature but he always had a special bond with volunteer, Maddie. When the time was right, Maddie decided to take Bootsie home. We are sure these pups will steal your heart! These wonderful Shepherd mixes are 4 months old and expected to continue to grow to be large dogs around 60 lbs. But Marshall and Mosby are on the fast track to becoming wonderful companions. They are just patiently waiting for a family to call their own.

Benedict (now Leo) found his forever home so fast his picture never even made it to the website. He only spent a couple of days at the adoption center before his forever family found him. Now he is a treasured member of the family and has two human siblings to play and snuggle with. A kitten couldn't ask for more.

Our Weird Cat this Wedensday is once again FeLV+ Slater. This lovely little weirdo has found a new pasttime, Couch Potato! This cute couch was donated to the cat center and we knew it would be purrfect for FeLV+ gang. As much as he loves this little couch, he would really love to be on a big couch next to his very own human in a forever home. So if you are looking for a couch potato pal, please consider Slater.

Moon is a 9-month-old, Husky mix. She is a dainty little girl weighing just under 30 lbs. We think that Moon will likely remain petite. She is a resilient dog who has overcome a lot to make it to BYC safely. And she has really been a pleasure to get to know!

Moon's foster family reports that she does well in a crate. She is equal parts playful and snuggly. She is kind and respectful to children and other dogs. So far, Moon checks all the right boxes. Scuttle is a 1-year-old, Rat terrier mix. He will likely remain under 25 lbs. as long as he continues a healthy and active lifestyle. Although, it doesn't take much before Scuttle is curled up on the couch taking a nap.

During his stay in foster care, Scuttle has been observed as a good leash walker and is working on his crate training. Sparks and Maislee found their forver home with the help of Purrista Cat Cafe. They both made the move from the adoption center to the cat cafe and before long they were adopted together. He's not much of a player but he is the MVP of our hearts! In Honor of St.Valentine's Day, we will be featuring some heartwarming cat adoption stories every day this week. These cats have been lucky enough to find their Valentine's but we still have many more who are waiting.
Otis spent 467 days at the adoption center before he found his purrfect forever home. When his adopters spotted his profile online, they knew that he was the one and drove all the way from Harrisburg to adopt him. Considering becoming a volunteer dog walker like Dori? BYC is looking for an extra paw! Daily walks provide our dogs with much-needed exercise, socialization, and most importantly, love! It's volunteers like Dori who make a world of difference in the lives of these pups, helping them feel loved and ready for their forever homes.

Spring is just around the corner and our dogs are eager to get out and about. We provide you with all the training and support you need to become a knowledgeable dog walker.
