We are very proud of these two! Helix is from our last litter, Nova x Jazz and he's only 16 months old!

Well, sir, that's a lot of polyester you have there!
Helix has one HELL of a Friendship show cluster, earning 165 Owner Handler points, 5 points towards his Bronze Grand Championship, and earning along the way:
3 Best of Breeds
1 Select
2 Owner Handler Group 1's
1 Owner Handler Group 3
1 Regular Group 4
and an Owner Handler Reserve Best in Show!!!!!!
This rockets Helix to #4 in National Owner Handler Series rankings, and has put him almost halfway to his Bronze Grand Championship in less than 2 months of showing.
I cannot thank enough all the judges who recognized Helix this weekend. You done good, kid!

This is something different....Joe and Deb got mail! For finishing Bossi's AKC Championship entirely from the Bred-By Exhibitor class, we each received an AKC-Breeder-Owner Champion medallion!

A better dog show weekend might be hard to find...from the Regatta Classic shows in Madison, Ohio...on the left is new Grand Champion "Helix" (GCH CH Valhalla's Downward Spiral To Rebellion JH). owned with Wyatt Herschell and Cheri Herschell Helix was Best of Breed on Friday to finish his GCH. He was in the ribbons the other three days with a BOS and 2 Select Dogs. (3 of those were majors) Helix also reached the Bronze level of 100 points in the NOHS. Not to be outdone, his littermate Bossi took Best of Breed over Specials on Thursday and then was Winners, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite S*x today. With those wins she completed her Champion title and is now CH Valhalla's Bossa Nova JH (pending AKC approval). These two have accomplished so much already; it's hard to realize they are still only 14 months old. Bossi is also the first of our dogs to complete her Championship earning all her points from the Bred By Exhibitor class!

Bossi does it; 4 for 4...she's now Valhalla's Bossa Nova JH. Congratulations also to her littermate Helix and junior handler Wyatt Herschell for getting their 3rd Junior pass in three tests. Helix will try to finish his title in a couple of weeks. (ADDED...after a quick count, Bossi is our 22nd personal dog to attain her Junior Hunter title)

Day 2 of the American Chesapeake Club Hunt Test was a double success...two more Junior Passes for the dogs from our Nova X Jazz litter. Congratulations Debbie and Bossi and Wyatt Herschell and Helix.

A successful day at the American Chesapeake Club Hunt Test. Bossi and her littermate Helix both passed their first Junior Hunter test. Congratulations Deb and Bossi (Valhalla's Bossa Nova) and Wyatt Herschell (junior handler) and Helix (CH Valhalla's Downward Spiral To Rebellion). These kids are doing great at 13 months.

A week ago today, on his first birthday, Helix finished his AKC championship! (Pending AKC approval) He is now CH Valhalla's Downward Spiral To Rebellion. A huge congratulations to Cheri Herschell of Rebellion Labradors who did all the heavy lifting showing Helix to all his points except the last two. I got lucky enough to be in the ring with him when he finished! Helix will be out running hunt tests next month and showing as a Special this summer. Helix is out of our Nova and Jazz (GCH CH Valhalla's Supernova At Scarfone's JH x GCH CH Valhalla's Girl From Ipanema JH)

This post is a little late; but I was waiting on pictures...From Saturday, January 6 at the Rubber City KC show..."Bossi" (Valhalla's Bossa Nova) was WB and BOS (over Specials) for her first MAJOR. Not to be outdone; her littermate Helix (Valhalla's Downward Spiral To Rebellion) was WD and BOW to also earn a MAJOR. What a great day for these 8-month old puppies! Thank you judge Joy Brewster for honoring these two youngsters!
