This is sweet little Coco. He Urgently needs a forever home.

Coco is a darling small 35lb lab border Collie mix. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

This is a courtesy post for the current owners of Coco, who needs to find him a new home. He needs a home with no children due to the anxiety of contact traffic in their house.

Coco was adopted 4 years ago from Yakima as a puppy that came in with his litter mates, by a former rescuer.

He is currently and temporarily staying with the owners friend in Portland Oregon who has no children. Owner is happy to transport Coco to a forever home.

Coco loves people and likes other little dogs like himself. He is housebroken and a cuddler.

I am great on walks and I come when you call me. I love to make you happy and I am a good listener. I don't have any food aggression and I am happy to share. I love playtime. Whether it's a game of fetch, or tug-of-war, or an adventure off or on leash."

This is where we are at today. Everyday we get about 10 calls or emails asking us to take their dog and find it a good home. We have no where to put dogs. All of our foster homes are full.
Let's not let little Kai's life fall by the wayside. People need to wake up!!
We see people on the side of the road trying to sell puppies and we are shocked to see people stopping to buy them!!!
We can't take in any more and all the rescues we know are in the same boat. Even the humane societies are full.
We are in a serious crisis. PLEASE don't buy puppies. Spay & Neuter is a must! We need Veterinarians to be reasonable and help in this crises.

Welp. Here we go. 💔

I almost don't have words tonight, but I know I must find them. My heart is in a thousand pieces, but my promise is to tell their story. This one was worse than others, I'm not sure why. I can't explain how desperately I needed this to have a different ending, but I really really did. And then it didn't.

This perfect little dog, just a baby still, had somehow beat the odds against him and survived until he was finally seen and scooped up by a well meaning soul. He was taken to a home, placed in a livestock trailer, and fed to his heart's content, which we expect was probably a whole lot.

By the time we picked him up today, he was what they call in veterinary medicine as "lateral". He could not stand, he was struggling to breathe, and his heart was saying it had little left to give. The entire drive from Ea WA to the ER hospital here he moaned and suffered. He was in agony. When the triage vet called me, she said they needed to rush him into life-saving measures and I didn't hesitate to say yes. But his life was not meant to be saved, our beautiful baby Heeler boy passed away as they tried to start an IV. 😖 Refeeding Syndrome was the assumed cause of death.

We had named him Kai, which meant "recovery" and "restoration", and we strongly believed we were going to save this little life. He belonged to us now. He had our PACK family behind him. We hope, in some probably ridiculous way, he knew he was now loved. We will believe that because somehow it helps.

Kai is just one of the hundreds of dogs suffering in WA right now. No where to go. No place to call home. No food, no water, no shelter. No Love. How do we create change. Because, honestly, this heartbreak isn't sustainable by any rescue organization. We hurt in the very worst way and change must happen before we are all crushed.

Spay and neuter must be accessible everywhere. Breeding must stop, or those doing it be required to register and be overseen. Pet overpopulation needs a voice, we are in a crisis, and we need your voice.

Kai didn't ask to be born. He certainly didn't deserve the short life he was dealt. We must do better.

Looking for a kindhearted soul who will take this poor boy in as a temporary foster. I rescued him three weeks ago from being on a chain outside for the past three months after being attacked by three aggressive dogs that lived in the house that he was abandoned at.

He was adopted by a wonderful family to be a companion for their senior dog. Unfortunately, the two dogs have begun to fight with each other and recently hurt each other very badly. The family loves him and said he is an amazing dog with their children and is a cuddle bug that likes to snuggle in bed with them. Unfortunately, because of the situation he hast to be removed from the home ASAP due to avoiding any additional fights between the two dogs. I have nowhere for him to go as Fosters are very limited at this time and I have no room here at the farm. It shouldn’t take long to adopt him given his stellar review from the family. He’ll make a great addition to a family as the only dog. Is there anyone out there who can help me help him to have a safe place to recover from his surgery until I can find him the best fit for his new home?

We need a foster (or adopter) home so we can bring this sweet baby girl, June, into rescue.
She's 6 months old and dog/kid friendly.
She lives with a single mom who has little kids. She realizes it was a poor decision to get a puppy.
She's in a crate too much. Mom works full time. They live in an apartment and so she always has to go out on a leash.
She's had a vet visit within the week.
She's a Rottweiler mix. She's very sweet.

Urgent! Foster home needed by 7/6 or senior dog is shelter bound.

Polka a very sweet easy going 10 year old spayed Malamute who is good with people kids and other dogs. Best with no cats in the home.
Her family, due to move notice and breakup need to rehome her asap.

SCD can only help her if there is someone willing to foster her.
At 10 years old and blind in one eye, she won't do well at any pound.

Polka loves to lay outside or on her dog bed and smiles when happy. She loves to be brushed too.

She is up to date on vaccines, crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands! She loves to walk and is good on leash, albeit vocal when walking. Meti rides well in the car. Urgent.
Owner needs to rehome her sweet Malinois German Shep mix. She is spayed. Loves kids and good with other dogs especially the boys.
They live in Renton and they have tried everything to keep her in their yard and even resorted to tethering her. When she gets out she chases cats and their neighbors have complained and threatened. She listens great and is the sweetest girl they say. She is beautiful.
They will have to take to the shelter tomorrow if no home can be found. Sadly we have no fosters who can take her right now either.

This is Daisy.
She needs a forever home. She is 2 years old, spayed and vaccinated in Olympia WA. This is a courtesy post as the owners need to rehome her.
Recently she has been reactive growling at their other dogs. She would be great as an only dog. The vet couldn't determine any medical reason for her change and a trainer feels she would thrive as an only pet.
She is a beautiful sweet husky, Malinois, Pittie mix active about 40lbs. She will protect you from the vacuum and similarly probably the lawn mower...Per her owner she loves people and older children, is crate trained, not a chewer and is a loving little girl.

This is a courtesy post for the owner of Ladybug.
She is a black lab mix about 5 years old. Shy sweet and lovable.
She would be best with a chill male dog. These are not SCD dogs. Housebroken. Adult home. Fenced yard would be great.
Owner needs to rehome as there are 5 dogs in a small apartment and there is one female alpha.

Also they are trying to rehome Babydoll.
Black lab mix. 1 year old female. Playful, loving protective and best as an only dog or with a chill male. She likes all the attention.
Both girls are spayed and vaccinated and chipped.
Should be adopted separately.

Babydoll would be great on a farm running and playing with older children per owner but needs to be left alone while eating.

Urgent. Foster needed in WA for a year old Pyrenees shep mix named Honey. Spayed and vaccinated.
Was rescued from a group of people as a puppy who put her siblings under a car and ran over them.
She loves other dogs. And people but will need an experienced person to help her adjust to being protective of her new foster family.
She is about 80lbs of love bug.

We would like to be able to take him in under our rescue but we need a foster. Until then he is not a SCD dog.
Gunner is in Lakewood WA.
He is a 13 year old neutered 70lb beagle boxer mix.
He survived a house fire in a crate and now has separation anxiety.
He will jump a 3 foot fence or chew ...if his family leaves without him.
He loves to play ball for hours, likes cats, kids and other dogs per owner.

He would love a retired couple or a home body.
Currently the owner takes him to an elderly couples house during work where he plays with their dog and lays near their feet.

Poor Pheonyx needs a new family.

He is house broken, he has lived with several other dogs and done well with them but sometimes when it's a new dog out in public he reacts towards them.
He is incredible with kids, he's usually pretty lazy but sometimes gets hyper and wrestles with his sister. He has been good with us at staying close but we still keep a leash on him when he's running around just in case he decides to run.
We haven't had any issues with counter surfing and he usually stays out of the trash, he's an oddly picky dog; he isn't a big fan of peanut butter.
Please give him a loving home. This breaks my heart having to give him up.
