This is a courtesy post.

Meet Cinnamon, she is a 14 mo old Staffordshire terrier, a.k.a. pitbull. She is spayed, microchip to current owner and up-to-date on all her vaccines. Her original owners just had a baby and did not feel that they could give this young dog the time it needed, they were going to give her to the human society, So a wonderful lady know as Marie U, stepped in to take her and try to find her a forever home. Cinnamon is potty trained and creat trained. Get on well with big and small dogs as well as cats. She is a sweet loving dog that wants to just try to snuggle in your lat. Marie has all the paperwork for Cinnamon so the microchip can be transferred. If you are interested in Cinnamon please contact Marie at 253-486-2337. If you know of anyone looking for a beautiful sweet dog forward this post.

ANOTHER ANSWER TO PRAYER...Rue has been adopted into a wonderful home and is very much LOVED. Thank you Lord.
And thank you foster parents Marsha and Howard for taking such good care of her.
Foster parents are a blessing.

RUE has beautiful BIG brown eyes and has a beautiful BUTTERSCOTCH coloring. Rue is a wonderful young dog (approximately 3 years old) She is affectionate and loves to be included in all family activities. Rue is gentle and loving. She is loyal and will always be your best friend. She's also very active and playful. Give it a shot and come meet her. SHE IS UP FOR ADOPTION THROUGH SECOND CHANCE DOGS.
Rue is a smart girl who loves to play and have fun but knows when to be calm. She follows manners and commands. She's been around kids 10-16. She LOVES to go for walks and has good manners on a leash. She is crate trained. She likes her private space and quiet time in her crate. She's very funny and expressive. She has the cattle dog Red Heeler coloring, and we can't figure out what else is in her. Her markings, coloring and ticking are beautiful.
Sometimes, when meeting a new dog, she can be cautious and gives a warning if she doesn't trust the other dog. She would probably be at her best and happiest if she was the only dog BUT she may do well if you introduce her properly. Got questions, text Diana at 253-820-5863. I'd be happy to help you.
You may also email me at [email protected] please put RUE in the subject. We have been having some issues with our internet and the website.

Update:: Black Lab found.

Finder has taken him to Joint Animal Services yesterday.
He was found between Yelm and Rainier on sat Nov 29th. No collar no chip. If interested in adopting him, the finders called him Bear, please go or inquire at Joint Animal Services.

Anyone recognize him?
Ted Axtell is the good samaritan that has him safe. His p # is 253-260-0900. It's a black lab around 60-70 pounds. No microchip and not neutered. He said the dog is seems healthy and is very sweet. He is leery of men till he gets to them. He thinks the dog is 2-3 years old.

This is a courtesy post, these are not Second chance dogs.

Meet CeCe a 11 year young female chihuahua, still full of energy.
CeCe is a spayed and up to date on vaccines. She can be shy at first but once she gets to know you she will follow you around and protect you. She is good with other little dogs but not to sure of bigger dogs. CeCe has a little buddy named Buster, he is 2 year old Pom/yorkie mix, he is not neutered yet but will need to be. Buster loves to play with his toys and is good with kids and other dogs of all sizes.
Mellody the owner would like for the two to get adopted together if possible. Due to very unfortunate circumstance and health issues she needs to find these two a new loving forever family. If you are interested in meeting these two please call Mellody at 206-503-5533.

Answer to prayer...Winston has been adopted to a wonderful couple. Thank you Lord.
Emergency Foster or forever home needed. He's extremely sweet. He's only three. He would make a great companion for a single person who wants a best friend buddy. He is very devoted and loving. He has a slight sight impairment but can still see shapes, toys, trees and people. He can run and play and hang out in the back yard on his own. In the one photo he's running in the yard with a child. He does well inside. Walks well on a leash. He's a nice dog. He is fearful of other dogs since he can't see them too well. He probably should be be an only dog unless you have an easy going dog and are patient to teach trust.. He loved the 10 year old children who came to visit. He's an Australian Shepherd. For direct information contact text message to 253-820-5863 I would be happy to answer any questions.

Our Story

Second Chance Dogs was founded by a group of 5 determined women who, for years, independently helped "in need" dogs transform from their current situations. In July, 2009, we joined forces and started Second Chance Dogs, a non-profit organization in an effort to help more dogs in more ways. Each director brings to the organization their own special gift, wand when combined, allows Second Chance Dogs to offer a variety of services to help rehabilitate and find loving homes for these dogs.
