Home from an Incredible week at the Royal!!! Caiti Muller, you were spectacular with your boys! Both of Caiti’s horses got a 2nd place vote in their championships.

I’m A Starboy & Caiti were so dynamic in the 3 Gaited 14-17 division. Callaway’s Amberjack was pleasure driving perfection in only their second show driving together!

Another Side of Grace made her dark green shavings debut with me for a nice ribbon in the 3 year old Park Pleasure class.

We had the best time with our friends from Mill-again and are so thankful for their entire team for helping to make this experience so special for Caiti!

I am a lesson horse.
I am a horse that isn’t as recognized as the top horse, the best western pleasure horse, or the 1D barrel horse, I am a lesson horse. I am the backbone of the foundation to do all of those things. I am a lesson horse.

I am not loved by one person. I am loved by several people. I don’t have my person, I have my people. I am a lesson horse.

I will teach your child and yourself more than just to ride. I will bring your child out of their shell. I will teach your child about life. I will be yours and their shoulder to cry on. I am a lesson horse.

I will bring my family the joy of teaching kids. I will bring my families business growth. I am so loved by my family, even if they don’t express it everyday. My family allows others to show me love and enjoy me. I am a lesson horse.

At the end of your childs’ journey on a lesson horse, they will out grow me. They will find one that is show quality, a horse much faster than me. But, I will never outgrow being a lesson horse. I will be the one that loved your child and helped your child grow into the rider and person they are. I am a lesson horse.

At the end of my time as a lesson horse; I will be covered in grey hair. Each grey hair came from each hour I spent as a lesson horse. I will be in a field of green grass, I will be taken care of as I was when I was a lesson horse. I will watch your child from across the pasture love her new horse. But, I will love your child more than any horse can. I will be the backbone of the business, the family, and your child. Don’t forget about me, I am a lesson horse.

I am a lesson horse.

Riders and parents - please review our code of conduct! Thanks for helping our barn stay positive, professional, and safe. -

As we’ve grown and as our riders grow up, we want to make sure our barn stays within the original vision of the program. We desire to maintain a respectful, safe, and family-friendly barn. We have GREAT people in our barn family, but to maintain consistency we will have a posted Code of Conduct. W...

How This Started

Both Jordan and Maggie have been riding horses together and been friends since high school.

Maggie’s primary background is in the hunter/jumper world. She grew up showing in the North Texas circuit in the hunter, equitation, and high children’s jumper divisions under the direction of Ashley Schaefer. She was a working student and taught lessons all through high school. In college summers, she ran and managed a barn at a dude ranch in Colorado. (She was the first female to do so at that ranch by the way.) During the academic year in college, Maggie was the manager for the Texas A&M Equestrian Team. After college, Maggie spent a year doing missions around the world. Maggie has spent the past two years with Shenanigans helping us transition into the competitive ASB Hunter Division. Maggie excels at conditioning horses and riders. She’s known as the toughest and most detail orientated trainer! Every lesson you take with her is worth your while!

Jordan’s primary background is in the Saddleseat world. She grew up showing in the Texas circuit, under the direction of Nicole Foster and Stephanie Mckinsey, showing primarily in pleasure Equitation or any catch ride she could find! She also was a working student and taught lessons al through high school. She also helped to run summer camps. In college, Jordan interned at Still Creek Ranch where she learned more about how to ride and teach hunters and western lessons. She has spent the past 3 years transitioning back into the ASB Show World post-college. She got her first Saddlebred Sultan’s Sunrise on Five “Moose” to show in hunter and jumpers. Although she has a ton of fun jumping, Jordan’s first love is equitation and she will develop a strong leg and strong core where you ride independently of your hands! She truly believes equitation is the art of riding and makes you a more effective rider in every discipline.

Although most of the Shenanigan Crew is made of Saddlebreds, we are open to every breed and every discipline!
