Show pictures to come but here are some great candids that Julie got of us and a few we snapped at TASHA!

Safe to say it was definitely one of our best shows yet! We always have bumps along the way and things to overcome, but as always we remain a team and the support among our barn family is outstanding!

How This Started

Both Jordan and Maggie have been riding horses together and been friends since high school.

Maggie’s primary background is in the hunter/jumper world. She grew up showing in the North Texas circuit in the hunter, equitation, and high children’s jumper divisions under the direction of Ashley Schaefer. She was a working student and taught lessons all through high school. In college summers, she ran and managed a barn at a dude ranch in Colorado. (She was the first female to do so at that ranch by the way.) During the academic year in college, Maggie was the manager for the Texas A&M Equestrian Team. After college, Maggie spent a year doing missions around the world. Maggie has spent the past two years with Shenanigans helping us transition into the competitive ASB Hunter Division. Maggie excels at conditioning horses and riders. She’s known as the toughest and most detail orientated trainer! Every lesson you take with her is worth your while!

Jordan’s primary background is in the Saddleseat world. She grew up showing in the Texas circuit, under the direction of Nicole Foster and Stephanie Mckinsey, showing primarily in pleasure Equitation or any catch ride she could find! She also was a working student and taught lessons al through high school. She also helped to run summer camps. In college, Jordan interned at Still Creek Ranch where she learned more about how to ride and teach hunters and western lessons. She has spent the past 3 years transitioning back into the ASB Show World post-college. She got her first Saddlebred Sultan’s Sunrise on Five “Moose” to show in hunter and jumpers. Although she has a ton of fun jumping, Jordan’s first love is equitation and she will develop a strong leg and strong core where you ride independently of your hands! She truly believes equitation is the art of riding and makes you a more effective rider in every discipline.

Although most of the Shenanigan Crew is made of Saddlebreds, we are open to every breed and every discipline!
