Time for a safety tip!

As much as you love your furry friends, sharing your alcoholic drinks with them can be FATAL.

If your pet accidentally ingests alcohol, they may experience hypoglycemia, seizures, and other severe health issues. Keep your pet safe by keeping your drinks away from them at all times!🚫

Keep your furry friends safe from fertilizer exposure!

While most fertilizers are generally safe, your pet may experience skin irritation or mild gastrointestinal symptoms if they come into contact with or ingest the product. If you suspect your pet has been exposed, remove the product from their skin using warm water and monitor for any symptoms.

Follow instructions carefully and keep your pet away from fertilized areas to keep them happy and healthy!

Pet owners, be aware of the dangers of rodenticides!

These products are highly toxic to domestic animals and can cause internal bleeding in cats and dogs if ingested. Most rodenticides work by inhibiting the rodent’s ability to clot blood, but they can also harm pets.

Look out for symptoms such as lethargy and pale gums and contact your veterinarian immediately if you suspect your pet has ingested rat or mouse poison.

This situation is highly treatable if caught early, so be proactive to protect your furry friends.

Did you know that neutering your male pet can help prevent several serious health issues?

Neutering eliminates the risk of testicular tumors and decreases their risk for prostate problems, perianal tumors, and hernias.

Plus, neutered males are less likely to roam and get into accidents or fights.

Today’s special guest during our staff meeting is…. Coco! She was very interested in discussing the forms we are streamlining, CPR protocols, a new type of sedative we are going to be using, deep cleaning timelines, and how we can as a team better communicate with each other to help our clients and patients have a better experience. Sounds pretty dull, but Coco was an enthusiastic participant with lots of wags and kisses.

Beware of what you store in your garage! Many strong chemicals and substances, such as paints, glues, and antifreeze, can be HARMFUL to your furry friends.

Antifreeze is especially dangerous, as it has a sweet scent and enticing taste that can attract pets. Even a small amount can lead to serious health issues, like kidney failure or death. Keep these products locked away and out of reach to protect your pets!
