Thanks to all our friends for the kind words and support. Today it is apparent that McKinney in no way is going to allow The Celt to not be here. I am so encouraged by the outpouring. We will find a way.
So, after much discussion with you guys and folks in the know it has been decided that we will have a “Save McKinney Small Businesses Car Rally” Friday April 24 at 6pm. This rally will be in line with shelter in place and social distancing rules since everyone will be in their cars. The goal is to have as many drivers circling the square honking their horns in support of downtown.

Update... We had short hours last week and have been closed this week. However we are filling all phone, delivery and internet orders same day. We live less than 5 minutes away from the shop so we are happy to meet customers there too.

In these confusing times we have struggled to know what the right thing to do is. Apparently that changes daily. However our commitment to our customers and most especially their dogs far outweighs any extra work on our part.It is very important to us that the dogs who are successfully using our CBD cookies can continue without interruption. Call us (214-769-4886) and we will get your order together for curbside pick up, home delivery in McKinney or USPS shipping.

This is horrible. Has anyone ever been there? I have never been to a Petland. I guess we should all be on the lookout for signs of abuse and cruelty everywhere. I knew they were known for selling puppy mill dogs. This is so awful.

An HSUS undercover investigation of the Frisco, TX Petland store in July and August 2019 (release date: 9/12/19) showed that problems continue at Petland stores, including gravely ill puppies not receiving adequate veterinary care, and dead animals found the freezers. A sick rabbit was left to die and our investigator later found the rabbit in the store's freezer. Former employees of various Petland stores have claimed that Petland sometimes puts ailing animals in the freezer while they are still alive. Okay it’s that time of year again. Oktoberfest is September 27,28 & 29th. Time to start training for the We**ie Dog Races. It’s a timed race, so only 2 dogs race at a time. The ones with the best times are the Wieners (winners) at the end of the day. Don’t have a We**ie dog? No problem. All others are encouraged to enter the We**ie Wanabe category. Race day is September 28th only.

We**ie Dog Races begin at noon in front of our shop
Registration starts at 11.
All dogs are welcome to race. Everyone is a Weiner or Wannabe today!

Happy Halloween Everyone 👻🎃Books are open for custom 🐶 cake orders!

Santa is coming! Thursday 12/6, 12/13 & 12/20 6-8pm. Bring the whole family and your camera. This is a free event. There's Candlelight Shopping on our street every Thursday evening.

This year we are celebrating our 15th year in business. We celebrated by purchasing a new oven! Look at the beautiful results! We are so excited for all the dogs to enjoy these treats.

We did some major shopping this month. Everything came this week. New toys, treats, magnets and more. Come down and check it out and say hi.

It is always an honor to make a cake for our furry friends. Today we had the supreme honor of making a cake for Officer Elo of the Collin County Sheriff's K-9 unit. After 5 years of distinguished service he is retiring. Thank you Elo for your service to our community.

Hope you have been working on your costumes. The 16th Annual Krewe of Barkus is coming up Feb. 11th noon -4. The theme is Barkus Around the World. Pick any country and represent that in your costumes and floats. Dempsey's will be hosting an After Party again this year and the merchants of East Louisiana St will also be doing some after parade celebrating.

Thank you so much for the continued support of our shop and our products. We truly appreciate all of our customers and their beautiful pups. We are blessed and so very grateful. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Starting next Thursday we will be participating in the Annual East Louisiana St Candlelight Shopping Night. It will be every Thursday from 6-8. We will have snacks and drinks and Santa. Bring the family, including the pups for an evening of shopping and fun.
