Enzo bit me for washing his butt because he thought I was going to empty his glands. I tried to tell him I wouldn’t but he didn’t listen. I had to cover his head in a towel so I could scrub his back legs, butt, and tail.

I’ve had this happen before with another white shih tzu, Sadie Scherher, so I’m telling mom that the vet can be the bad guy. I already worked Enzo out of a muzzle for foot work so I don’t want him to hate me for the tub. It’ll take a while to retrain him not to expect it but eventually he’ll get it.

How Hero stood for his whole groom. He is on gabapentine and trazadone so he is feeling nice and calm.😌

Hero came in from Doodle Dandy Rescue today for a groom. He had to be zonked out on vet meds to get in the car so he was a breeze to work on. He loves to listen to commands and picked up on how I ask for feet by his second foot. Even with him not in our solar system he was so good.

Shiloh chews on the metal cage bars when he is done and wants to go. We tried letting him loose but he only wanted escape. We tried tying him to my table with his collar and leash but he kept getting tangled. So soft playpen is coming out, only he figured out how to move it around. I’ll have to tie it to my table now…🙄

Pebbles and Mikey before we knew we could trust a loose Pebb-butt and Roxy. Mikey is having the time of his life lately playing with all these dogs!!

Gracie is gearing up for her dryer howling. She needs to be dried to look good for her haircut but she doesn’t understand. Now she is singing to me from the drying cage that blows room temperature air on her face and ears.
