Exciting news at Best Friends Fun Farm!
We are thrilled to welcome Terri Schmidt, as the newest member of the BF3 team! Starting Wednesday mornings on July 10th, Terri will be teaching Pre-Agility, Novice, and more. With her extensive knowledge and teaching experience, we are super excited to have her join us.

Since we got more rain this afternoon there is no way the field will be dry enough tomorrow so switching gears.
We will have a standard course in the barn. Will have AF and Teeter (no DW)
Same times, same running order same plan. 4, 8 & 12" until finished then 16, 20&24".
The course will be something like below.

we have had lots of rain and it's still drizzling now, so the field is really wet. Whether or not we will can play depends on how much sun and wind we get. We will make a decision this evening.

WHEN: Saturday, March 23rd from 8-till finished
WHERE: 3130 County Road 324 McKinney, TX 75069
DETAILS:
FIELD – Standard - nested novice/ master also has a nested JWW
BARN – JWW course nested novice/masters
WHAT: You'll have 90 seconds for each run.
Run any course you like, or just train part of a course.
Running Order:
Gates open at 7:30 a.m.
Walk thru 8:00 a.m. – Run 8:15
Field: 4” – 8” – 12”
Barn: 12” – 8” – 4”
Walk Thru 11:00 – Run 11:15 [0r When small are completed]
Field: 16” – 20” – 24”
Barn: 24” – 20” – 16”

Haven’t been here before?
Look for a tall orange cone and an agility sign at the end of the driveway. Look for a one-story red brick house.
Take the driveway all the way to the back and you will see the barn and parking lot. Parking will be tight, please park as close as possible to the next car. We have yellow poles so give you some guides.
You can potty your dog behind the barn or around the parking lot area. Please pick up after your dog, we have p**p bags and scoopers. The property is fenced in, except for the driveway. Please don't walk dogs down by house, it gets our dogs in a tizzy. 😄
There is a porta-potty and working sink for your convenience.

A new family member!

I sure am missing everyone. Cleaning through my phone and found this video of a sweet dog named Sammy from a few weeks ago. He's doing so well!

I'm so proud of Best Friends' student Nancy who showed off her amazing distance skills at the AKC trial last weekend. (She did it again in JWW with a QQ for the day!) She has worked so hard with Cassie and it's paying off. Let's give her a hand!!!

A little sampling of some distance skills we practiced in private lessons this week. So proud of my students!

We were happy to welcome our guest handler, 5 yr old Will, today. Grandson of Gail. He ran Giddy Marie and did a super job for his first time doing agility! High five, Will!

It was distractions night at Best Friends. Suzi’s boy Blink gets an A+!

Been a fun week so far, love working with the youngsters! Wish I had gotten more video of Izzy, she's got wheels! And check out Remy's first time on the Aframe after about a month of box work for her running contact. She nailed it!

Shari Degan's youngster Cane had a great practice earlier this week! Baby boy is growing up!
