Officer Bones finished up his day at CCAS by having a bone-a-fide check up by our vet tech. It was found he just doesn't have the guts for the job.
Thanks for following along on his adventures! You never know when he may visit again!

We could see right through Officer Bones when he said he was bone tired and couldn't keep working today. He helped at the front desk, assisted with sharing our need for kitten food donations and even helped vaccinate a puppy! It's pretty jaw dropping how versatile Officer Bones can be!

Our reliable Officer Bones was back at it today after being on-call last night. He always kept his phone and radio close by, made sure the traps were secure on the truck and even checked on a few things on the roof at CCAS! Now he's in the truck ready to go take some calls.
He says we are working him to the bone and he has no body...what do you think?

Officer Bones continued his day by spending some quality time with a few of CCAS's resident cats and dogs. He found the kittens especially humerus! They really tickled his funny bone!

As Halloween approaches, our staff needed some help and "Officer Bones" volunteered!
He says we "worked him to death", but you be the judge!
He started in the cat room, filled the pool and scooped some p**p in the play yard and even fed the goats!

🎉Doggy day out 🎉

Today, this adorable 3-year-old husky mix had a blast at the square! She dined at The Yard, where she made so many new friends and discovered her love for french fries! 🍟❤️

But that’s not all—she treated herself to some delicious doggy ice cream at the Cocktail Creamery. 🍦🐶

Grimalda was the perfect companion, staying close for love and attention, and she impressed everyone with her excellent leash manners and calm demeanor in the car. 🚗💖

Trick or Treat! We want treats, but we will settle for a new home. Come by CCAS tomorrow between 1 and 4 pm for our annual Trunk or Treat event. Costumes encouraged. We will have treats for humans and dogs alike, so don’t be afraid to bring your furry friends!

Did you know? We have 10 heartworm positive dogs at CCAS right now!! 😲
This disease is completely avoidable with monthly preventative, but is expensive to treat once the dog is positive. But...no need to worry! Dogs that are adopted from CCAS that are HW+ get the treatment they need with help from an amazing group called

Come learn about fostering with CCAS tomorrow evening!

Learn about pet fostering at an information session on October 24 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Frisco Public Library (Event Rm C). The event will feature a panel of representatives from Habitat4Paws, the Collin County Animal Shelter, and the Frisco Humane Society.
