What a fantastic week at horse camp! We had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group of campers at the farm this week. Fortunately, the rain held off today, allowing us to enjoy a scenic trail ride around the property. A big thank you to our wonderful staff and the terrific group of teenagers who have been assisting us throughout all three of our summer camps!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved horse, Oprah. At 34 years old she was the oldest equine resident of Breezy Bluff. For many years she was the first lesson horse for countless students that have passed through Breezy Bluff, and has been enjoying her well deserved retirement.

What an incredible week it has been for Horse Camp I! Despite the heat, our campers showed remarkable resilience and enthusiasm throughout the activities. To top it all off, we organized an exciting trail ride around the property, providing the campers with a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings on horseback.

As I’m thinking about the clinic Breezy Bluff Riding Academy - I’m finding the truth in that there is no good movement without rotation. Moving from the pelvis and having breath is what allows movement to have meaning.

And then when you bring in breath… breath releases frustration. Frustration is felt in the lungs and solar plexus. What moves the lungs and solar plexus? Breath.

The body is full of beautiful patterns that lead to wellness. We just need to uncover them and incorporate the gifts available.

Join us for a two-day clinic with Meeting Place Equine June 14th and 15th. This unique interactive clinic will cover self awareness, effective communication with your horse, and address physical challenges individually. Registration is open to both students and non-students. We are accepting haul ins if you would like to participate with your own horse for the second day of the clinic. The cost of the clinic will be $300 for each participant. For more information please email me at [email protected].

We have an exciting new opportunity coming to Breezy Bluff! Meeting place equine will be here June 14th and 15th for a two day clinic. This interactive clinic will cover self awareness, effective communication with your horse, and address physical challenges individually. They will be bringing out a one of a kind riding simulator to allow participants to better find balance as well as further identify and correct the cause of any issue under saddle that the rider may have. As we will be spending a portion of the second day riding we will be accepting off site haul ins for those wishing to participate in the clinic that own their own horse. If you do not have a horse to use for the mounted portion of the clinic, those participants will enjoy extra time with the riding simulator. The cost for the clinic will be $300 per participant.
