Next Level Sporthorses LLC

Next Level Sporthorses LLC Dedicated to producing top quality sport horses for both professional and amateur riders alike

We are a small farm located in Central Oklahoma, breeding between one to four foals per year with the goal of producing top quality sport horses that are suitable for any rider. We use much sought after European bloodlines so that riders can shop right here in North America and not have to concern themselves with importation fees, quarantine, and any other expenses that are entailed with purchasin

g overseas.

We diligently study pedigrees, research performance records, and plan our matings, often years in advance, for the best possible stallions to cross with our mares. Our number one goal is temperament, coupled with beauty, conformation, movement, rideability, and longevity. Our mares are the most important part of the equation of our breeding program, which is why we keep our broodmare band small; we want to provide them with the best possible care and attention, which they so rightly deserve. Our mares all go through, or have been through, breeding approvals with such registries as the American Hanoverian Society, the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society (GOV), and Westfalen.

Available in-utero, Rhineland/Half Arabian foal!!By Monterey (Morricone/Sir Donnerhall I) out of Tahriki Malika ox (Tahriki Rakkad/Holima), purebred Arabian mare approved with the American Rhineland Studbook. Due late April/early May, a $1,000 [nonrefundable] deposit is required to reserve the foal (a live foal guarantee is included) with the remainder due before weaning at 6-8 months.

Sire: Monterey was one of the most striking stallions of the 2018 Oldenburg stallion licensing in Vechta. In addition to his impression in the arena, he was revered with regard to his bloodlines and he was named premium stallion and received cheers from the crowd. Monterey is very rideable and has a lot of charm and confidence. He is immaculate in his foundation and demonstrates amazing gaits, especially in walk and trot.

His sire Morricone, was the Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2014 and secured victory in the competition for the Oldenburg Main Premium in 2016. He won his stallion performance test and qualified for the German Championships with victories in competitions for young dressage horses. Many of his foals have been sold for high prices. In his first crop of c**ts up for licensing, six stallions were approved, including one premium stallion in Hanover.

His dam Special Diva, was German Champion in 2014 and subsequently won many dressage competitions at novice (A) and elementary (L) level.

The dam sire Sir Donnerhall I has already earned the status of "trademark stallion". He was second Reserve champion of his licensing, Regional Champion, record winner of his stallion performance test, Vice-World Champion of young dressage horses, German Champion and winner of the main premium. He has almost 100 licensed sons.

His grand-dam Minelli produced the licensed stallion Brilliant (by Bretton Woods) and Fürst Diamond (by Fürst Romancier), internationally successful up to Inter I.

Diamond Hit, who appears in the third generation, was Vice-World Champion and Vice-German Champion in 2002, after winning silver at the Regional and National Championships of four-year-old stallions the year before. In 2005, he was the awarded the title of VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year. With Emma Hindle, he was very successful at international Grand-Prix level.

From the widely ramified Hanoverian line of Helferin descend the Champion Stallion Romulus I and the Reserve Champion Romulus II, as well as, the licensed stallions Chianti, Remus I and II and numerous other successful sport horses, such as the Grand-Prix dressage horses Sole Mio/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and D'Artagnan and the advanced (S) level show jumpers You belong to me and Falk B.

Dam: Tahriki Malika, known on our farm as "Mali" (pronounced Molly) is the end result of our search for the right “type” of Arabian mare to incorporate into our small dressage breeding program, with the goal of breeding quality half Arabian horses for both the open USDF and Arabian sport horse competitor. We love Arabians and believe they have a lot to offer in the dressage world!

Mali comes from the perfect combination of older Russian, Crabbet, and Egyptian lines not seen much in the modern Arabian show world. She is the type of Arabian that is "built to last" with excellent movement that boasts suspension in the trot, a smooth canter, and a lovely walk, coupled with a gorgeous face, excellent legs, and those fantastic large, Arabian feet, all bundled together with an amazingly sweet and quiet disposition. In 2019 she was presented to Weser-Ems (the small horse and pony division of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society) and was accepted into the main mare book with excellent remarks on movement and type. In September of 2021, Mali was presented to the American Rhineland Studbook, and was added to the Main Mare Book. This means that all of her foals are eligible for double registration with the Arabian Horse Association and the American Rhineland Studbook or Weser-Ems.

Mali has produced two exceptional foals for our farm, Relevance NLS, by Ridley (Rotspon/Walt Disney), a stunning black c**t who found his home with a pro dressage rider in Syracuse, New York immediately after weaning, and Bon Ami NLS, a lovely bay c**t by one of Europe's most popular dressage stallions, Bon Coeur (Benetton Dream/Sandro Hit).

***FUN FACT!! For those who may have been fans of Walter Farley and his wonderful book series, The Black Stallion, Mali is a direct descendant of the stallion El Mokhtar, one of the stallions who portrayed "the Black" in the move The Black Stallion Returns!!***

Sire, Spörcken: He was everyone’s darling and sold for the top price at the 2010 stallion market in Verden.

He is an impressive mover and every single movement ripples through his whole body with elasticity and force. Also equipped with an awesome walk it still was his extraordinary trot that opened the hearts of his audience. In addition to that he comes with an uncomparably good pedigree. The dam line of Norodina has already produced many dressage stars like Borsalino ridden by Heike Kemmer and Le Mont d´Or ridden by Anja Plönzke which both compete at the Grand Prix-level. Bon Bonaparte ridden by Stefan Sandbrink starts successfully in Intermediaire tests. She even has produced some well-known show jumpers like Stamm B & H Medicott and So Clever, both ridden by Felix Haßmann and successful up to CSI and S*.

His father Sir Donnerhall I also was very successful in his early years. He was Reserve Champion of the Oldenburger licensing in 2003 in Vechta and won the 70 day test in Adelheisdorf in 2005 with a record score of 163 in the dressage index. AFTER Afterwards he won the Oldenburger regional championships in 2005 and the qualification test fort he world championships for young dressage horses in Verden in 2006 where he ended up being reserve champion with a score of 9,2. In addition to that he won the Bundeschampionat for 5year old dressage horses in the same year. Meanwhile more than 40 of his sons got licensed.

His dam’s sire Lauries Crusador xx produced more than 70 licensed stallions including famous sires like Londonerry and Laida. Many successful sports hores fathered by this blood stallion can be found like for example Lesotho/Ellen Schulten-Baumer, Le Bo/Carola Koppelmann and Le Primeur/Line Wettstein/SUI. Further he produced about 182 state premium mares.

Spörcken completed his perfomance test in 2011 in Adelheidsdorf, and received an impressively high score of 165 points in the dressage index.

His oldest offspring are now out and winning in sport. Sporcken has a very high % of state premium mares, as well he has auction foals and riding horses, as well as licensed stallions, and bundeschampionat participants.
Sporken is tall, very leggy and correct, a lovely modern type, he is also very beautiful.

Dam: Flame Dancer, known on our farm as "Fantasia" is one of our foundation broodmares. She is by Elite Hanoverian Stallion Fabuleux, and out of a Graf Goetz mare. Fantasia is in the Main Mare Books with both the American Hanoverian Society and the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society (GOV). She is 16.1H, dark bay with a beautiful face and an expressive, kind eye. She passes on her wonderful temperament, uphill movement, an exceptional hind leg, and that classic rocking horse canter that Fabuleux offspring are known for. In 2018, she produced a beautiful dark bay (almost black) c**t by Supremat OLD (Sandro Hit/Rubinstein I) who was named premium foal and stallion prospect at his Oldenburg inspection!

Her sire, ES Fabuleux, a Class I Stallion, successfully completed his 100-Day Test in Adelheidsdorf, where his exceptional scores included Walk 9, Trot 9, Canter 10, Temperament 9, Rideability 9, Willingness to Work 9. He received the outstanding dressage score of 130.45 points. Fabuleux has sired dozens of top foals and premium foals. They have won numerous Get of Sire classes at major shows in North America. He has sired numerous Elite Mare Candidates, High Scoring Mares, and Top AHS Inspection Tour Mares. Fabuleux is from a rare damline illustrating 7 direct generations of SPS/Elite Mares.

Her damsire, Graf Goetz, was the famous chestnut stallion who captured the hearts of dressage fans in the early 90's under trainer Steven Wolgemuth. The pair were elected most successful AHSA competitors in 1990, were long listed with the USET in 1992 after winning their first 6 Grand Prix's and in 1993 were the 4th highest ranking combination in the US coming into the tryouts for the North American Championships. Graf Goetz produced many amateur horses throughout the United States who typically had his large, expressive eye, superb walk, and affectionate and outgoing personality. His handsome presence has been used for artist sketches, paintings, and even a popular dressage license plate. Graf Goetz made himself an outstanding career in the US, trained and ridden by Steven Wolgemuth. Since his pedigree is more directed to the jumper division, Steven and Graf Goetz have proven that rideability and athletic ability are the foundation of any kind of training in any discipline.

Available in-utero, Velantis (Vitalis/Flouriscount) x Rubiya (Rascalino/Diamont). Due late April/early May, a $1,000 [nonrefundable] deposit is required to reserve the foal (a live foal guarantee is included) with the remainder due before weaning at 6-8 months.

Sire: Velantis N, a 2018, 17.2 hh Hanoverian stallion by Vitalis, is an exciting choice for North American breeders. When paying attention to the European breeding scene, you can’t help but notice that Velantis’ pedigree combination is highly sought after. Those horses carrying his lines show quality, ridability and are sold at record prices. In 2022 again Vitalis and Floriscount produced numerous top licensing candidates and sales for several European breed societies. Besides the high scores and rapid ascend to top performance, the ridability and ease in which they adapt to their environment is unequaled making these young horses fantastic for anyone to ride and own. That is what Christiane Noelting, breeder and owner of Velantis had in mind when combining these genetics which started with the importation of Velantis’ impressive Dam “Fleur D’Amour”

Velantis himself is true to his proven pedigree. Christian Hartung, his rider, says: "Working with Velantis has been an amazing experience from day one. He is very intelligent, focused, and a quick learner no matter what I ask of him. I was very impressed with how brave he is – showing in the large indoor in Rancho Murietta the first time at barely 4 years old, he did not even flinch. At the end of the season, we walked into the Equidome to receive our Championship awards at the LA Equestrian Center, I didn't have to worry about him being distracted by the surroundings or other horses."

During his 2022 show season debut as a 4 year old, Velantis received scores in the 70% - 80% range winning both the CDS and USDF Open Training Level Championship at the California Annual Show in Burbank with scores near 80%. A successful first season in the showring was followed by stallion licensing and a successful stallion performance test scoring 8,7.5,8,8,8 -7.9 overall, ranking him as youngest and top 5 out of 17 stallions presented in North America.

Velantis N’s sire VITALIS. This exceptional sire is sought-after worldwide. Very modern and big moving, Vitalis is in the fast lane for breeding as well as in sport. He has impressed the breeding world with his huge, elastic trot and relaxed, rhythmic canter. He is very rideable, and you never see his rider Isabel Freese without a smile on her face! Vitalis was the licensing Reserve Champion. Top dressage scores at his performance test, wins at the Dutch stallion championship and the World Young Horse Championships preluded the sale to American rider Charlotte Jorst. With Charlotte he placed in the nationals and Young Horse World Championship as a 6 yr old with record marks of 10 trot and 9.8 canter. Vitalis was clearly ahead of other competitors, following and even surpassing his sire Vivaldi’s hoof steps. Vivaldi was reserve champion of his performance test, winner of the KWPN finals with a 10 trot, shown internationally successfully with Hans Peter Minderhoud and produced over 20 licensed sons and many internationally successful dressage offspring. With over 30 licensed sons, BuCha champions and qualifiers, National Champions and shattering sales records Vitalis’s story keeps growing.

Dam sire FLORISCOUNT. Velantis N’s Dam “Fleur D’Amour”, from the Hanoverian Waterkant stamm, is an impressive moving mare with superb ridability, purchased in the Verden auction as a 3 yr old for an amateur rider prior to her breeding career. Her sire Floriscount surpassed even the highest expectations. At the 2014 Nuernberger Burg-Pokal he was second in the qualifying round and silver medalist in the Pokal final wasn't enough. Under Oliver Oelrich, he went on to a standing ovation from the audience in the Musical Kur earning an outstanding 9.0! That same year he was awarded “Oldenburg dressage stallion of the year” normally given to 9 to 10 year old stallions based on their own performance as well as that of their offspring. Since the FN had rated him with an incredible Breeding Value Index of 170 with a 91% assurity and his offspring were winning in the shows and selling for top prices at the auctions, it wasn't a surprise when the Oldenburg Breeding Committee bestowed him with this award.
Floriscount dominated the Hanoverian licensings in Verden for many years having had the largest amount of offspring selected as well as several Premium stallions. Floriscount offspring enjoyed many international successes. Many Floriscount mares have been selected for the Hanoverian elite mare show in Verden, the prestigious Herward von der Decken Show. The mare, St.Pr.A. Fleur (Floriscount x Wild Dance), was the 2014 reserve champion and later went on to qualify and place in the 3 yr olds Bundeschampionate. One of many, but we like the Wild Dance connection in that success story. Velantis N’s pedigree is filled with some of the best refining blood consolidated in the back of his pedigree due to the Holsteiner sire Tin Rocco by Tin Rod xx and the legendary Vollkorn xx, Mexico xx and Lucky Boy xx.

Velantis is a culmination of modern high-performance genetics and we have high expectations for his offspring. Exceptional quality fresh and frozen semen is now available daily for your mares.

Show results
Velantis continued his show success in 2023 defending both Championship titles at the California Annual Show earning blue ribbons for both CDS and USDF in the First Level Open division. Throughout the 2023 season Velantis earned top scores as high as 87.5% in the FEI 5-year-old tests. In 2024 Velantis earned an incredible 91.8% in the FEI 6-year-old test making him a top qualifier for the Festival of Champions USDF's Young Horse National Championships both years. Velantis’ numerous scores over 80% in the FEI classes fulfilled his performance requirements granting him lifetime breeding approval. 2024 brought an astoundingly good first Velantis foal crop from a wide variety of mare types, which has many breeding back. Velantis is not a carrier of WFFS.

Dam: Rubiya is by Elite Hanoverian stallion Rascalino (Rotspon, Velton Third) and out of Dunin Bradstreet by Diamont. She is everything we look for in a broodmare, from her wonderful temperament, coupled with a lovely, uphill conformation, and excellent movement. Rubiya was shown in dressage through second level with average scores in the mid 60's before sustaining a pasture injury, which, unfortunately ended her show career.

In 2015, Rubiya was inspected with the American Hanoverian Society, where she was site champion, receiving incredible scores of 8’s for walk and trot.

Rubiya is proving to be the perfect mare to breed to more modern dressage stallions, while ensuring that top quality, movement and wonderful rideability will not be compromised. She is producing outstanding foals with top temperaments and trainability coupled with excellent conformation.

Rubiya’s sire, Rascalino completed the dressage portion of his Adelheidsdorf performance test with the knockout score of 153.37. This score was good enough to make him the winner of the test, with the score of 103.56 on the jumping portion. In fact, this respectable jumping score is probably a product of the of the Wedekind/Ferdinand and Wendekreis/Ferdinand in damsire, Velten Third's background. A further performance component is added through paternal grandsire Rubinstein I, a line known for dressage excellence, but also with some talent at the jump. World Cup III as the sire of the second dam insures dressage excellence. Rascalino is a beautiful, elegant animal with the best gaits and exceptional freedom of the shoulders, sure to make his mark in modern dressage breeding, in the hoofprints of his famous sire and grandsire.

Rascalino’s sire, Rotspon, needs no introduction. After years of producing quality offspring, in 2017 Rotspon was awarded 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year' by the Hanoverian Verband in Verden, Germany.
Rotspon is a top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the Hanoverian stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a good jumping technique which is above average. He is an elegantly made sire in a noble black coat with a lot of expression and appearance.
Rotspon's son, Rosevelt, competed for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics. With his rider Allison Brock, Team USA won Bronze. Rosevelt also won the 2015 Grand Prix in Wellington, FL and did it again one month later at the Grand Prix CD13*.
The first crop of offspring by Rotspon were born in the year 2000. The foals have beautiful heads and a good conformation (long sloping shoulder, long well set up neck). They are equipped with a very elastic trot and a ground covering walk, and have been very much in demand. In the 2015, according to the Hanoverian Stallion Book, Rotspon is credited with 888 competition progeny with winnings of €680,105 – 767 dressage placegetters with 80 progeny competing at S level.

Rubiya’s damsire, Diamont was a noted dressage sire and was ranked first in 1994, 1996 and 1997 by the USDF among all Hanoverian stallions for producing USDF Horse of the Year qualifiers. In 1995 he was the 7th leading producer of qualifiers among stallions of all breeds in the U.S. He produced three licensed stallions and fourteen Elite Hanoverian mares. Diamont has three offspring currently competing successfully in European dressage circles. His offspring are well noted for being successful in all the sport horse disciplines including dressage, Grand Prix show jumping and eventing. His son Dior is well know competing at Grand Prix level. The well known Grand Prix dressage stallion, Domingo, is a 3/4 brother to Diamont. Domingo is also a top producer of Elite Mares. He is also the sire of an approved Hanoverian stallion, numerous breed show winners and both hunter and dressage champions.

This foal is available in utero for $16,000 USD. A $1000 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold the foal prior to delivery, with the remainder due before weaning (between 6-8 months). Please visit www.nextlevelsporthorses.com for more information!

His teammate and pilot, Sabine Schut-Kery credits their success in part to Sanceo’s desire to work for her and to please, “It comes down to the fact that he’s there for me and I really do feel like we have an incredible partnership. He’s just sensitive, but not over-reactive, simply, he lets me guide him and lets me be the leader,” said Schut-Kery. The pairs "overnight success" is that of 12 years in the making detailed by an enormous and highly successful performance record leading up to the Olympic Performance including Team Gold at the Pan American Games in Toronto and many major wins from Europe to Wellington to California outlined below. His “sudden success” at the highest echelon on the world stage has many European magazine writers wondering where he came from. British Horse and hound wrote “My favorite up and coming star, who stole the show was Sabine Schut-Kery with Sanceo…was a little surprised she did not get a higher mark in the Grand Prix. She rode with so much harmony with her beautiful horse always staying in self carriage, maintaining a light uphill frame. I’m sure it was down to her that the US just pipped us Brits into the bronze medal position.”
