On this day 14 years ago I went to wal mart for a beta fish. When pulling into the parking lot we saw a family standing in the rain with two soaking wet puppies so small they could fit in the nook of my arm.
The moment our eyes met my soul tied to his. He gave me the best 12 years and I’m carrying on his legacy through every single dog saved. Happy Gotcha Day Noah Moose. I miss you more than words can explain.

Willa Jo is the happiest girl!

Her foster mama discovered worms in her stool today so we did a heft dose of dewormer!

She’s such a happy Gal. I’m so thankful she’s not spending Christmas in the shelter.

Thankful Friday.

We received 4 seperate donations today.
1 via Venmo
1 because of a house closing donation with a local realtor
1 donation towards Violets eye surgeries in honor of a friend
And 1 from a women who was in distress with her dog months ago that I was able to help.

Thank you all so very much. So so very much. We are donation and foster based rescue, this is the only way we stay afloat

Our Bandido Boy had a big day today. He was an angel and slept through the day while he waited for his turn.

Dr. Lapinski and I came up with a plan to do a sedated work up on him. This meant collecting blood, f***l and a sedated ear flush and swab to see if we could figure out why he has been experiencing facial paralysis on the left side.

Our findings were unfortunate. It appears that for sometime prior in life Bandido either experienced trauma or intense ear infections causing a literal hole in his ear drum. We were able to clear the hole out and detected yeast after doing an ear cytology. We are treating that with some drops 1x a day for 14 days.

We should have his blood and f***l results back soon but of course with the coming holidays we will be patient as it may take longer to receive results.

Bandido is fit to be adopted and this is just apart if him. In my opinion his droopy face just adds to his loveable personality. Our beefy boy weighs 86lbs and showed everyone in the clinic his sweet personality. I am so proud of him. 

Bandido is likely around 6/7 not 2 like the shelter had estimated. Despite the age difference he is a happy dude with lots of life left in him to make someone incredibly happy.

Our Bandido boy is at the vet with me today. He’s going to have his ears looked at and get a full work up in hopes it will improve his chances at adoption.

This boy is so sweet.
He has to have a family out there waiting for him.

Eva now known as Ava Jane has been ADOPTED!

Her family came all the way from Florence to take her home!

She is going to have the best life!

This sweet girl needs us. She’s so gentle and easy going. Good with humans and other dogs (unsure about cats but enjoyed the company of a chihuahua)

She will be spayed and in need of foster in January.

She’s a big girl weighing in at 114 # but she’s an absolute gentle giant.
